Alpine Ski Blizzard Regulator

Ski sold without binding.

This year Blizzard Regulator turns from blue into green, this is the only change for the 2017 model. The Regulator is still a light twin freeride ski, really accessible with a 94mm waist and a double tip rocker developed to shred some pow.

What can the Blizzard Regulator ski do?

This super versatile ski is a bridge to go from an all-mountain use to a freeride orientated practice. The Regulator offers a good edge hold on the slopes and stays stable. With a radius around 20m forget the shortswing  and go for the big fast turns. With its large waist and a Carbon FlipCore double rocker, the Regulator ensures a great buoyancy as soon as the snow becomes soft. You can get used to ride in powder on the side of the slopes before going on a big freeride session and lay tranches in deep. With a bit of speed, the Blizzard Regulator goes everywhere and offers you to discover the entire mountain.

Who is the Blizzard Regulator ski designed for?

The intermediate skiers will like this perfect versatile ski to improve on all terrains and the confirmed riders will find multipurpose blades, freeride orientated, able to go everywhere. It is not the most powerful ski of the Blizzard freeride serie, but one of the best to ride.

Structure - Construction

  • Sandwich Construction Compound Sidewall  :

Sandwich construction with phenol sidewalls. The sandwich construction is part of a quality ski. This construction layers different materials chosen for their physical characteristics depending on the characteristics needed for the ski.

  • Poplar and beech woodcore
  • Flip core  :

The ski is molded in its final rockered shape allowing the ski to be pressed in a natural way. Enhanced floatation, increased stability and edge grip

  • Ti Binding  :

    Ti reinforcement at waist

Camber type

  • Classic camber  :

When the ski sits flat on the ground, the tip and the tail are in contact with it while the midsection rises above. It is this section that maximises the energy transmission towards the edge, ideal for piste skiing. It also provides a rebound which enhances energy return and pop.

Rocker type

  • Tip and tail rocker  :

Full length rocker perfect for surfing powder. It floats easily and ensures smooth and effortless turns. Landings are easier too.
