Alpine Ski Head Monster 108

Ski sold without binding.

Welcome to Head’s horror mansion and discover their new breed of monsters, eager for powder and ready to devour the entire mountain. They are beasts waiting to be unleashed. If you think you can handle that and you want to make the mountain yours, then you should probably try the skis, you won’t regret it.

What can the Head Monster 108 do?

Who said all-mountain skiing couldn’t be done with a 108mm waisted ski? Certainly not Head. Standing on the top of their allride series, the Monster 108 is clearly made for big conditions. Nothing can stop it. It surfes on bottomless powder with style and ease, it stomps pillows, dances through the trees and races on groomers with consistent performance. The rockered tip and generous sidecuts offer tons of manoeuvering on deep powder while the graphene and titanal reinforced woodcore maximises reactivity and agility. With the Monster on your feet, it feels like any spot is within reach. Of course, a big ski like that needs talented skiers to be managed. Technically and physically demanding, the Monster 108 does not know the word ‘forgiving’. But expert skiers will have a blast shredding the backcountry with it and race their friends on the way home. Highly recommended!

Who is the Head Monster 108 designed for?

Primarily intended for expert technical skiers, the Monster 108 is a powerful quiver that likes deep powder and good conditions. But the best thing is that you can take it anywhere else and it will still deliver!

Manufacturer info :

Type of turns

  • Long turns

  • Directional (front tip)  :

The ski shape allows only a directional use.

Structure - Construction

  • Construction Worldcup Sandwich  :

Sandwich construction used for Worldcup skis.

  • Libra : Graphène™  :

GRAPHENE is the first crystal that is two dimensional, giving the material a unique set of properties. It is the thinnest and lightest element ever discovered by mankind. GRAPHENE is also the strongest material on the planet, stronger than diamond and 300 times stronger than steel, all in the thickness of one atom.

Camber type

  • Classic camber  :

When the ski sits flat on the ground, the tip and the tail are in contact with it while the midsection rises above. It is this section that maximises the energy transmission towards the edge, ideal for piste skiing. It also provides a rebound which enhances energy return and pop.

  • Allride Rocker  :

The brand places highly targeted amount of rocker in each model to ensure maximum performance for all ability levels. Steering is easier for all skiers and soft snow versatility is enhanced.

  • Era 3.0  :

A masterful blend of three independently important technologies to make the ultimate allcountry skis. A new era has begun.

Rocker+Radius+Rebound=Rocker Done Right : Imagine a ski that performs for everyone, anywhere.

Head Era 3.0 is not your one-dimensional "Have a problem ? Head fix it !". It's a combination of technologies, shape and geometry.

Think rocker, think radius, think rebound. Think 3-dimensional...

Rocker type

  • Tip rocker  :

Skis are more manoeuvrable, contact points on the skis are placed in order to reduce the effective running length, which allows easier pivot and a better float.

  • Base structures UHM C  :

Very High density base for an excellent glide performance, wax retention, and resistance to abrasion.
