Alpine Ski Head Venturi 95

Ski sold without binding.

Head freeskis return and they are going to make powder riders very happy. Derived in several widths, each having a specific colour, the skis excel on deep snow without compromising on-piste performance.

What can the Head Venturi 95 do?

It is not easy to put the ski in one specific category. In between freeski and all-mountain, the Venturi 95 delivers the best of both worlds. It rips the hardpack and floats on powder with the same effortless ease. It is as versatile as it gets and will happily comply with any of your needs. If you are into backcountry skiing, you will like the tip and tail (TNT) rocker running through half of the ski length. It makes it incredibly playful and agile, perfect for playing around with natural features and landing on deep powder. The ski floats as if it was natural and feels simply fantastic. But that’s not it. As previously said, it excels at freeriding and on the hardpack! Its traditional camber enhances edge control and reactivity, energy transmissions are quick and predictable and the ski remains precise and stable despite a rockered profile. So, if you look for ultimate versatility for riding both front and back sides of the mountain, the Venturi 95 is for you.

Who is the Head Venturi 95 designed for?

This is a good match for advanced and expert skiers looking for a new all-terrain vehicle that performs with style and ease whatever the conditions. It floats, it plows, it grips and rips over and over again.

What are the main assets of the Head Venturi 105?

Versatility
Floatability
Edge control
Liveliness

Manufacturer info :

Type of turns

  • Multi-turns

Shape

  • Directional (front tip)  :

The ski shape allows only a directional use.

Structure - Construction

  • Durable sidewalls  :

    Enhances durability

  • Construction Sandwich  :

Sandwich construction is part of a quality ski. This construction layers different materials chosen for their physical characteristics depending on the characteristics needed for the ski.

Camber type

  • Classic camber  :

When the ski sits flat on the ground, the tip and the tail are in contact with it while the midsection rises above. It is this section that maximises the energy transmission towards the edge, ideal for piste skiing. It also provides a rebound which enhances energy return and pop.

Technology

  • TTS  :

    Tip and Tail Stabiliser System

A ski with reduced vibration and increased dampening and a system to increase torsional strength all while at the same time reducing swing weight.

TTS is a stabilising exoskeleton which dampens the vibrations normally felt from rockered tips and tails also reduces overall swing weight and creates a ski with a playful yet high level of performance.

The system is comprised of an elastomeric inlay for vibration control as well as a glass fibre exoskeleton for stability and torsional strength. this combination not only reduces vibrations but creates better pressure distribution upon entry and exit of a turn by minimising lateral flex of the ski. Reducing overall vibration means better edge control and threrfore increasing overall skiing performance and skier experience. In addition, the reduction of necessary core materials in the tips and tails has created a lighter swing weight for easier handling and maeuverability both on snow and in the air.

Rocker type

  • TNT Rocker  :

Tip and Tail rocker combinated with regular camber underfoot. This combination creates a surfy feel in powder while maintaining hard snow versatilty. 40% rocker - 60% camber.

Various

  • Base structures UHM C  :

Very High density base for an excellent glide performance, wax retention, and resistance to abrasion.
