The K2 Press is a freestyle entrance range ski. It is the easiest, most accessible and affordable ski of its range. It has a pure wood core giving it a great pop and liveliness. This twin tip keeps last year sidecut 113-85-104 and can play on every terrain.

What can the K2 Charger do?

As versatile as accessible, the K2 Press is a really handy toy, light and forgiving it is rideable effortlessly. Its soft flex allows not to wear yourself out and keep riding all day long. The Press is a real all-mountain ski, you can warm up on the slopes on the morning then go out of boundary to catch fresh powder. The Press rockers make it float with its 85mm waist and easy to ride in fresh powder. The Press is perfect to begin freestyle skiing and take confidence. You start with a basic trick on the slopes, then a side slope kicker and you end your week landing 360 spins and slides in the park.

Who is the K2 Press designed for?

This model is ideal for beginner freestylers who don’t have a great technique. They will improve at their own pace and try different style of ski. The Press is soft so the well built riders will have to go for a stiffer ski.

Manufacturer info :

Type of turns

  • Long turns

  • Bidirectional (twin tip)  :

The ski shape allows to ski forward or backward.

Structure - Construction

  • Cap Construction  :

Durable and lightweight cap skis are built by a sophisticated molding process that envelopes the core and internal materials with the top layer of the ski. Used throughout our ski line, cap constructions can be assembled with a variety of different cores. These variations, such as glass and/or metal materials, are the determining factors of the skis performance.

  • Triaxial braiding  :

Triaxial braiding consists of braiding fiberglass around a wood core to provide torsional rigidity for added control. Developed in 1988 by K2 engineers, the patented triaxial braiding machine interlocks strands of fiberglass around a milled wood core. This unique method produces skis with great torsional strength, that maintains the lively flex patterns of the wood core.

Camber type

  • Classic camber  :

When the ski sits flat on the ground, the tip and the tail are in contact with it while the midsection rises above. It is this section that maximises the energy transmission towards the edge, ideal for piste skiing. It also provides a rebound which enhances energy return and pop.

  • Jib Rocker  :

Featuring an elevated tip and tail with zero camber underfoot, Jib Rocker offers the best blend of playfulness for butters and surface tricks combined with enhanced pop for unmatched ollie power.

Simply put, Jib Rocker is designed for ollies, butters, and predictable pop.

Rocker type

  • Tip and tail rocker  :

Full length rocker perfect for surfing powder. It floats easily and ensures smooth and effortless turns. Landings are easier too.

  • Park specific flex
  • Swap Base  :

The bases of these skis can come in two different color ways, depending of how the colors are swapped on the base. This gives two looks to the same ski, and ensures you are not rocking the exact same pair as your buddy who just picked up the same pair of skis.
