Alpine Ski K2 Sight

Ski sold without binding.

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

K2 is a brand that knows a lot about freestyle. They’ve made park and pipe specific skis for years and any rider who has been lucky enough to test them knows they rip. That is why the Sight returns, because nobody wanted to see it change or disappear.

Whan can the K2 Sight do?

The Sight is K2’s all-rounder in their park & pipe lineup. That means if you see something that is vaguely shaped like a park kicker, but it’s in the backcountry and it’s covered with powder, that’s not a problem for the ski. The Sight shines by its versatility and turns the whole mountain into your own playground, literally. It is poppy and responsive with an excellent edge control on hard snow. That makes it perfect for charging kickers and gauge your speed with precision. The bigger the jumps are, the more fun you’ll have. If you’re more into rails and presses, no worries, you’ll nose butter every single leap on your way and you’ll appreciate how playful the ski feels. It has a well balanced flex pattern allowing every skier to do what they want with it and land it properly. The Sight is an absolute freestyle bomb.

Who is the K2 Sight designed for?

The Sight is a twin tipped ski suited for intermediate and advanced freestylers who want high park performance without compromising versatility.

Structure - Construction

  • Poplar core  :

K2's Adventure skis use an Aspen/Paulownia blend core. Lower-density Aspen and even lighter-weight Paulownia allow us to reduce the weight that results from the added surface area of wider skis. In addition, the Bio Core is 15% lighter than the fir/aspen blend traditional in our all-mountain skis.

  • Triaxial braiding  :

Triaxial braiding consists of braiding fiberglass around a wood core to provide torsional rigidity for added control. Developed in 1988 by K2 engineers, the patented triaxial braiding machine interlocks strands of fiberglass around a milled wood core. This unique method produces skis with great torsional strength, that maintains the lively flex patterns of the wood core.

  • TwinTech  :

This new Twin Tip specific construction process increases the durability of sidewall skis. A traditional sidewall construction produces a 90 degree angle where the top material and sidewall meet. The Twin Tech construction actually rolls the top material into the sidewall reducing the angle that is prone to abuse.

Rocker - Camber

  • All-Terrain Rocker  :

All-Terrain Rocker features an elevated tip for variable and soft snow performance, as well as camber underfoot for power, energy, and edge-hold in firmer conditions.

Simply put, All-Terrain Rocker offers versatility and ease in all snow conditions.

  • Tip and Tail rivets  :

K2 introduced tip and tail rivets 7 years ago on the Factory Series skis. They were functionally developed for additional protection, reinforcing the tip and tail of the ski against delamination. Although function is still the primary purpose, K2 has evolved the rivets and plates into stylized components.

  • Swap Base  :

The bases of these skis can come in two different color ways, depending of how the colors are swapped on the base. This gives two looks to the same ski, and ensures you are not rocking the exact same pair as your buddy who just picked up the same pair of skis.

"The skis look and ski great! However despite submitting all my details I had to pay to get the bindings taken off and reset in the correct position as they were not right for my boots."

"Hello, thank you for your feedback. We are very sorry for the inconvience but it seems that you did not confirm any accurate ski boots length into the mounting chart you've fullfilled. With your usual shoe size only, we used a standard length of 325 mm which fits a usual UK9.Could you please confirm the real length in mm of your ski boots?Best regards.
