Alpine Ski Lib Tech Wreckcreate 115

Ski sold without binding.

Here's a fat ski that's going to get the freeride crowd on its feet. Featuring a huge 115mm waist, the Wreckreate 115 by Lib Tech is literally massive, it is actually the widest ski in the 2017 Wreckreate series. Armed with a tip and tail rocker, the ski gives a strong focus to manoeuvrability and rides powder as if it was home.

What can the Lib Tech Wreckcreate 115 ski do?

Clearly oriented towards freeride, this alpine ski offers a mindblowing floatation through deep powder. Its freeride shape delivers an excellent manoeuvrability on this type of terrain and the ski will definitely meet your highest expectations. From huge cliff jumps to the steepest slopes the mountain has to offer, the Wreckreate 115 has your needs covered. It is a true freerider, a powerful SUV vehicle that blasts through the crud with a ridiculous ease. Its rockered tip provides a great breaking power and a comfortable glide. You also get to use the Magne Traction technology turning your edges into knife blades. You will appreciate it when conditions have been windy and the terrain is hard or icy. A ski that grips is a ski that rips.

Who is the Lib Tech Wreckcreate 115 ski designed for?

This freeride ski is the best thing you can have in your garage when it has been snowing all night. It is a ski we recommend for heavy snow conditions, for deep powder and off piste riding. However, it is a technical ski best suited for advanced and expert riders looking for a powder-specific ski.

What are the main assets of the Lib Tech Wreckcreate 115 ski?

Effortless despite its massive sidecuts

Manufacturer info :

Type of turns

  • Multi-turns

Shape

  • Bidirectional (twin tip)  :

The ski shape allows to ski forward or backward.

Structure - Construction

  • Magne-Traction  :

SERRATED STEAKNIFE EDGE GRIP: Magne-Traction adds edgehold and focuses the control and power under your feet where your balance is centered. Each bump or serration is strategically sized and positioned. The most aggressive bumps are in the center near and under your boot for maximum edgehold and control. The bumps are progressively less aggressive out towards the tip and tails creating catch-free user friendly tips and tails. Magne-Traction’s incredible edge control when combined with reCURVE’s easy turn initiation and float make for an unreal smooth ride in all terrain and conditions from ice to pow.

Camber type

  • Classic camber  :

When the ski sits flat on the ground, the tip and the tail are in contact with it while the midsection rises above. It is this section that maximises the energy transmission towards the edge, ideal for piste skiing. It also provides a rebound which enhances energy return and pop.

Rocker type

  • Tip and tail rocker  :

Full length rocker perfect for surfing powder. It floats easily and ensures smooth and effortless turns. Landings are easier too.

Various

  • Bio Beans Top  :

Lib Tech has made a commitment to using a new earth friendly, bio-plastic top skin made from beans that features the highest strength-to-weight ratio of any top sheet in the industry.
