Alpine Ski Movement Go Strong

Ski sold without binding.

Here is the new all-mountain ski serie by Movement, ultra modern and super light designed to change terrains and snow conditions as you wish. Among the new 2017 serie, you will find the Go Strong that offers a 106mm waist and impressive big mountain abilities. The poplar core reinforced with triaxial Dynamic fibers provides a great snappiness while the double rocker takes care of the floatation in powder as if by magic.

What can the Movement Go Strong ski do?

Oversized blades that will sparkle in freeride. Once handled, it is so powerful and accurate that you can attack any faces of the mountain. You will have a lively ski underfoot that doesn't move an inch even on the most technical terrains and smashes everything on its path thanks to its enormous tip rocker. What a joy to let the Go Strong go straight down the hill. It takes speed and almost flies over the powder, a real wonder! With its classic camber, it also grips really well on the slopes and on hard snow. It might not be the most versatile alpine ski out there but it delivers an incredible snappiness and its double rocker really eases the turns.

Who is the Movement Go Strong ski designed for?

Movement engineers developed this ski for confirmed and expert riders looking for an athletic and lively ski to engage on any powder-filled steeps. The Go Strong is also pleasant on groomed runs. Here is an all-mountain ski that should make some noise this winter. Use without moderation!

Manufacturer info :

Type of turns

  • Long turns

Shape

  • Bidirectional (twin tip)  :

The ski shape allows to ski forward or backward.

Structure - Construction

  • CTS Light  :

The new 3D light cap ABS sidewall is unique in the way that the ABS runs through to the wood core of the ski and works also as a form of reinforcement. This system also offers a weight gain over the classic CTS which why it is integrated in to the Free Touring and Freeride ranges.

  • Double Plate Reinforcement  :

Movement has developed a system using 2 pre-treated fiber gass plates of differing sizes on top of each other inserted in to the binding zones to improve the flex of the skis, but also to improve the hold of the binding itself

  • Poplar Light Core
  • VA-TECH  :

The VATECH system is a layer of vibration-dampening rubber inserted under the binding, for better edge grip and a smoother ride. The NOSE VATECH system replaces the ABS plate on skis with a tip wider than 135 mm. This rubber layer smoothes the ride and dampens vibration of extra-wide tips.

Camber type

  • Classic camber  :

When the ski sits flat on the ground, the tip and the tail are in contact with it while the midsection rises above. It is this section that maximises the energy transmission towards the edge, ideal for piste skiing. It also provides a rebound which enhances energy return and pop.

Technology

  • Tip Light Rocker  :

Easier turn initiations and added floatation

Rocker type

  • Tip and tail rocker  :

Full length rocker perfect for surfing powder. It floats easily and ensures smooth and effortless turns. Landings are easier too.

Various

  • P-Tex base 4000 1.3mm  :

High density base for a better performance and a longer lasting base.
