Alpine Ski Movement Vision

Ski sold without binding.

After only one season, the Vision ski made in Movement encountered a great success. It comes back again this winter with a nice finish and similar characteristics. Its massive tip rocker provides a great buoyancy in deep and the tail rocker ends the job delivering a super fun handiness. With a 14m radius for a 175cm ski, the Vision is ultra playful and almost turns on the spot. Even if you prefer to smear virgin faces, this all-terrain ski is also at ease on groomed runs thanks to its classic camber.

What can the Movement Vision ski do?

Thanks to its dual rocker and its wide lifting surface, this all-mountain freeride ski turns intuitively and quickly. It is a great news for skiers who don’t have great skills. The forgiveness of the Vision will let you work on your technique on the slopes, take some speed  and discover the stunning floating sensations in fresh powder. The 89mm waist of the Vision might not be enough in really deep powder but will deliver all the buoyancy you need to begin freeriding without burning your thighs.

Who is the Movement Vision ski designed for?

This freeride all-mountain ski is designed for intermediate skiers who want to leave the crowded slopes to discover the pleasure of slaloming between the trees and smear virgin faces off-pist. The lack of precision and stability of the Vision might limit expert riders seeking to attack the steepest runs of the mountain.

Manufacturer info :

Type of turns

  • Multi-turns

Shape

  • Directional (front tip)  :

The ski shape allows only a directional use.

Structure - Construction

  • CTS Light  :

The new 3D light cap ABS sidewall is unique in the way that the ABS runs through to the wood core of the ski and works also as a form of reinforcement. This system also offers a weight gain over the classic CTS which why it is integrated in to the Free Touring and Freeride ranges.

  • Dynamic Tri-Axial Fiber  :

This structure provides stiff flex and resists to torsion.

  • Poplar Light Core
  • VA-TECH  :

The VATECH system is a layer of vibration-dampening rubber inserted under the binding, for better edge grip and a smoother ride. The NOSE VATECH system replaces the ABS plate on skis with a tip wider than 135 mm. This rubber layer smoothes the ride and dampens vibration of extra-wide tips.

Camber type

  • Classic camber  :

When the ski sits flat on the ground, the tip and the tail are in contact with it while the midsection rises above. It is this section that maximises the energy transmission towards the edge, ideal for piste skiing. It also provides a rebound which enhances energy return and pop.

Technology

  • Tip Light Rocker  :

Easier turn initiations and added floatation

Rocker type

  • Tip and tail rocker  :

Full length rocker perfect for surfing powder. It floats easily and ensures smooth and effortless turns. Landings are easier too.

Various

  • P-Tex base 4000 1.3mm  :

High density base for a better performance and a longer lasting base.
