Alpine Ski Scott Punisher

Ski sold without binding.

No updates for the Punisher except new graphics which we particularly like. So, the ski returns with its flat camber, its 108mm waist (in 183), its sandwich construction with slanted sidewalls and its twin rocker. The ski remains playful and versatile thanks to its 3d sidecuts handling any snow conditions and still floats on pow with a ridiculous ease. A great option for venturing through the whole resort and further.

What our testers say : The pop and the playfulness delivered tell us to recommend the ski to backcountry shredders. We tested it in a 40cm deep fresh snow and it was a blast. The ski felt incredibly agile through the trees and floated on the surface naturally. The shape allows lively turns while keeping the stability and the edge hold to the top when the snow gets harder. The ski truly felt comfortable and managed after only a few turns, making us confident enough for a few tricks. Super powder toy !

Structure - Construction

  • SSC Lam - Sandwich Sidewall Construction Laminate  :

Sandwich construction with slanted sidewalls, laminated reinforcements and cap finish.

Camber type

  • Classic camber  :

When the ski sits flat on the ground, the tip and the tail are in contact with it while the midsection rises above. It is this section that maximises the energy transmission towards the edge, ideal for piste skiing. It also provides a rebound which enhances energy return and pop.

  • Twin-Tip Rocker L  :

Twin rocker places rocker on both the tip and tail of twin tip skis to allow for maximum float when riding forward or switch. Tail rocker also improves ski handling by allowing the tail of the ski to sit deeper in the snow bringing the tip up resulting in total domination in deep snow.

Twin-Tip Rocker comes in three different sizes S, M and L.

Rocker type

  • Tip and tail rocker  :

Full length rocker perfect for surfing powder. It floats easily and ensures smooth and effortless turns. Landings are easier too.

  • 3D Sidecut  :

Revolutionary technology combining 2 radius with a central straight sidecut, allowing twin rocker skis to be brilliant on off pist with an excellent edge grip on pistes.

  • Freestyle Finish  :

Scott Freestyle Finish is especially designed for a more playful freestyle ski. The main difference from the factory finish is the bigger base edge angle of 1.6°. This larger angle makes the ski easier to spin and more forgiving on landings and rails.

Brilliant one quiver ski, great on the hard pack, chop and pow. Lead well, loads of float, they ski switch well considering the size massive serving spoon tips. Rotate easily and are light weight. Absorb impact well on the tails when dropping. Carve well when you apply shed loads of pressure to the tips. Only down side I found was I got the tails hooked up with each other occasionally no biggy though. Good quality construction, responds well and likes to be skied hard. Would recommend especially at that price and Thats coming from a tight Yorkshire lad.. displays only reviews from customers who ordered the product on its website.
