Alpine Ski Scott Reverse

Ski sold without binding.

The Reverse returns unmolested and offers to skiers the same on-snow experience. The ski features the same geometry, the same profile, the same construction and the same sidecuts as its previous version, it comes with the same goals: provide skiers with all-mountain performance while keeping the price low and the value high. Boasting a woodcore with 2 layers of titanal, the Reverse has tons of character and always responds quickly. Precise and intuitive thanks to its rockered tip, the ski works great anywhere and carves groomers as well as it floats powder. Another great feature is the Venturi tip that absorbs vibrations and makes your riding smoother than ever.

What our testers say: It remains the same and delivers the same pleasure on the slopes. It's an easy ski, very accessible to most skiers, highly versatile and most importantly, it's fun to ride. A true all-rounder, 50-50, lively and precise on groomed snow, floaty and agile on pow. We particularly recommend it to skiers looking for something easy and effortless.

Structure - Construction

  • Woodcore with double titanial  :

Woodcores - used since ever in the ski industry - offers great performance. They provide stability and rebound, eliminate vibrations and are extremely durable.

Titanial is a metallic alloy including aluminium. It gives precision, grip, smoothness and stability on all terrains.

  • SSC Tit - Sandwich Sidewall Construction Titanal  :

Sandwich construction with sidewall, titanial reinforcements and cap finish.

Camber type

  • Classic camber  :

When the ski sits flat on the ground, the tip and the tail are in contact with it while the midsection rises above. It is this section that maximises the energy transmission towards the edge, ideal for piste skiing. It also provides a rebound which enhances energy return and pop.

  • Venturi-Tip Rocker S  :

Venturi-Tip Rocker combines a hollowed tip with a rocker shape. The resulting Venturi-Tip Rocker design allows for great float and better tracking, yielding a highly versatile performer in variable conditions.

    +Excellent float and turn initiation

+Offers stability at high speeds in all conditions

+Reduces surface pressure resulting in improved ski handling

Rocker type

  • Tip rocker  :

Skis are more manoeuvrable, contact points on the skis are placed in order to reduce the effective running length, which allows easier pivot and a better float.

  • Dual Radius  :

Traditional skis have a fixed radius that determines the length of every turn. SCOTT skis combine two radii (dual radius) to create the sidecut or “shape” of the ski. By incorporating the Dual Radius concept, the ski can turn when you want it to turn, resulting in a more versatile ski which is not confined to one type of skiing or terrain.

  • Factory Finish  :

SCOTT skis come direct from the factory "ready to ski" with SCOTT factory finish. Every factory finished ski leaves the factory with side edges ground at 89° and base edges ground between 0.5° and 0.8° for exceptional performance. The base is finished with a micro structured CNC stone grind so you can mount your skis and hit the hill, no tuning required.

  • Pre Track  :

When developing Pre-Track, SCOTT designed skis with wide tips and/or slightly turned up tails. With Pre-Track, SCOTT skis employ a smaller effective edge for short radius turns on groomed slopes and a longer effective edge when making bigger turns or skiing off-piste. The result is a more precise, stable, reliable and versatile ski.
