Alpine Ski Scott Superguide 95

Ski sold without binding.

With the Mountain Skis series, Scott releases a range of skis designed to place the whole mountain within reach. Jointly developped by Scott’s engineers and mountain guides, these ultra-light skis perform up and downhill in all conditions.

What can the Scott Superguide 88 do?

It's funny to see how things improve. Remember a few years ago, you were looking at that peak thinking you would never be able to climb it? But things change, equipment improves and you're now totally able to make it. Say hello to the Superguide 95, your new best friend. This is Scott's high-end touring ski, ultra light and featuring freeride sidecuts to perform on the downhill. You can ride as fast as you can, jump off cornices, dance through the trees and slash powdery ridges as you would do with a pure freerider, but it will be even easier because the ski is light and effortless. Its sturdy and powerful carbon and kevlar construction delivers reactivity and support on difficult terrains. The ski performs even on hard snow where it offers decent edge control and solid stability. It is the perfect ski if you want to ride on every single spot the mountain has to offer.

Who is the Scott Superguide 95 designed for?

Freetourers looking for downhill performance will love this light and powerful stick. Suited for experienced skiers who know how to use skins and how to ski on the deep.

Structure - Construction

  • Tip to tail woodcore  :

The long woodcore gives the ski a more consistent flex and more fluidity through transitions.

  • SSCL Carbon E  :

TECHNOLOGY & EXPERIENCE - SCOTT’s SSCL Carbon is a result of a carbon experience and heritage. The combination of a sandwich wood core construction with carbon laminates results in a lightweight performance construction ideally suited for ski touring.

Camber type

  • Classic camber  :

When the ski sits flat on the ground, the tip and the tail are in contact with it while the midsection rises above. It is this section that maximises the energy transmission towards the edge, ideal for piste skiing. It also provides a rebound which enhances energy return and pop.

Technology

  • Pro-Tip 320 mm  :

By incorporating a progressive tip height radius, SCOTT skis simply track better than the competition. SCOTT's Pro-Tip produces a more consistent ski flex and predictable turns. Pro-Tip is available in three heights 300mm (Precision On-Piste), 350mm (All-Mountain) and 375mm (Full Freeride). Tip Rocker 320 mm.

Rocker type

  • Tip rocker  :

Skis are more manoeuvrable, contact points on the skis are placed in order to reduce the effective running length, which allows easier pivot and a better float.

Various

  • 3D Sidecut  :

Revolutionary technology combining 2 radius with a central straight sidecut, allowing twin rocker skis to be brilliant on off pist with an excellent edge grip on pistes.

  • Factory Finish  :

SCOTT skis come direct from the factory "ready to ski" with SCOTT factory finish. Every factory finished ski leaves the factory with side edges ground at 89° and base edges ground between 0.5° and 0.8° for exceptional performance. The base is finished with a micro structured CNC stone grind so you can mount your skis and hit the hill, no tuning required.
