Alpine Ski Stockli Scale Delta

Ski sold without binding.

With the Scale series you know you will find the all-mountain ski suited for your needs. Featuring skis with different widths and lengths, Stöckli makes available an impressive line of skis. The most difficult thing is to pick the right one.

What can the Stöckli Scale Delta do?

The Delta is the widest all-mountain ski of the Scale series with a waist varying between 81 and 84mm depending on the ski length. Versatile and not oversized, you got a light and nimble ski offering quick energy transmissions and high precision. Equipped with a Powder Rocker, the ski initiates turns with style and ease and manoeuvers through crud or difficult terrains effortlessly. It is a good ski for skiers who like laying long turns at high speed rather than linking slalom-like turns on groomers. The ski is a charger more than a technical performer. Stöckli also reduced the tip’s width in order to diminish vibrations and make the ski more stable at high speed. The Delta can be a bit demanding and requires strong legs to be fully managed on and off piste.

Who is the Stöckli Scale Delta designed for?

We recommend it to sporty skiers with an intermediate or advanced level who want to increase their speed on the slopes. The Scale Delta is a fantastic multitasker that handles any condition on the mountain with ease. Stable, agile and versatile, you can tell it is swiss made from the first run on.

Structure - Construction

  • Light Core  :

Light and stable - the new wood combination of Sabei (Fuma) and ash that make up the lightweight core fulfill just these criteria. Even lighter is balsa wood - one of the lightest woods available and yet best suited for ski construction.

  • Sandwich System  :

Sandwich construction is part of a quality ski. This construction layers different materials chosen for their physical characteristics depending on the characteristics needed for the ski.

Camber type

  • Classic camber  :

When the ski sits flat on the ground, the tip and the tail are in contact with it while the midsection rises above. It is this section that maximises the energy transmission towards the edge, ideal for piste skiing. It also provides a rebound which enhances energy return and pop.

  • Powder Rocker  :

The longer curvature in the shovel improves lift in powder snow and prevents the ski from burying itself so easily underneath the snow. The early curvature also reduce the gliding surface, making the ski feel shorter and more maneuverable. On the slope the shorter running surface makes carving easier, requiring considerably less effort especially with wider skis.

Rocker type

  • Tip rocker  :

Skis are more manoeuvrable, contact points on the skis are placed in order to reduce the effective running length, which allows easier pivot and a better float.

  • Swiss Precision Tuning  :

Complex finish of the base in several steps that guarantees an optimum glide.
