Alpine Ski Stockli Stormrider 95

Ski sold without binding.

The Stormrider series was designed to face any condition and any slope the mountain has to offer and if it’s covered with pow it’s even better. Stöckli used their latest technologies to turn this ski into a freeride beast.

What can the Stöckli Stormrider 95 do?

If you’re looking for a powerful all-mountain / freeride ski that performs on powder as well as on piste, the Stormrider 95 is a safe pick. When conditions allow it, you can rely on its massive rocker and 95mm platform to go surf powder with a ridiculous ease and leave your tracks on the untouched with style. And if the entire mountain is already tracked out, it doesn’t matter, the ski destroys anything that comes across and plows through crud like an icebreaker. Even on groomers the ski rips. Thanks to its vertical sidewalls and titanal reinforcements it delivers stability and precision despite its generous sidecuts. It’s not a ski for cruising around but for charging hard and fast. Designed to lay long turns and deliver powerful accelerations out of them, the Stormrider 95 is a ski of character. Moreover, the ski feels quite light and less demanding than most skis of the same width on the market.

Who is the Stöckli Stormrider 95 designed for?

It delivers high all-mountain performance to advanced and expert riders with an aggressive style. The ski rides fast and feels reliable on all terrains. Powerful, grippy and floaty at the same time, it is a beast waiting to be unleashed. Technical skiers will love it.

Structure - Construction

  • 3AX Sidewall  :

Synthetic reinforced fiberglass sidewalls. Stronger against impacts.

  • Construction TiTec  :

This not only looks like metal - it is metal! The titanal material is cross-ground and the design is then sublimated. Next to saving weight the surface is given a unique touch!

  • Light Core  :

Light and stable - the new wood combination of Sabei (Fuma) and ash that make up the lightweight core fulfill just these criteria. Even lighter is balsa wood - one of the lightest woods available and yet best suited for ski construction.

  • Sandwich System  :

Sandwich construction is part of a quality ski. This construction layers different materials chosen for their physical characteristics depending on the characteristics needed for the ski.

  • TRI  :

Carbon or polyamide inserts are placed in motches on the TiTec surface on the shovel and tail areas. This allows for optimal determination of Flex and torsion.

Camber type

  • Classic camber  :

When the ski sits flat on the ground, the tip and the tail are in contact with it while the midsection rises above. It is this section that maximises the energy transmission towards the edge, ideal for piste skiing. It also provides a rebound which enhances energy return and pop.

Technology

  • Powder Rocker  :

The longer curvature in the shovel improves lift in powder snow and prevents the ski from burying itself so easily underneath the snow. The early curvature also reduce the gliding surface, making the ski feel shorter and more maneuverable. On the slope the shorter running surface makes carving easier, requiring considerably less effort especially with wider skis.

Rocker type

  • Tip and tail rocker  :

Full length rocker perfect for surfing powder. It floats easily and ensures smooth and effortless turns. Landings are easier too.

Various

  • Tip protector  :

Carbon reinforcement increasing the reactivity and the stiffness in torsion without compromising the weight of the ski.

  • Swiss Precision Tuning  :

Complex finish of the base in several steps that guarantees an optimum glide.
