Boots Burton Invader Red

Size information : We recommend to pick one size up from your normal shoe size.

The Invader Red is the entry level offering of Burton’s 2016-2017 line of snowboard boots. This means engineers primarily focused on comfort to design it and that’s why you get to put your foot into an Imprint 1 liner delivering a nice and ergonomic fit. You can ride hours without feeling pain or fatigue. The boot also comes with a soft and flexy tongue featuring a waterproof gusset to keep the elements at bay. You know there’s nothing worse than riding with wet feet, with the Invader, it is not possible.

What can the Burton Invader Red snowboard boot do?

This model is an inexpensive and confidence-inspiring snowboard boot ideally suited for those who are about to nail their first turns on a slope. The boot flex is mellow and doesn’t require power or strength to be managed. From frontside to backside turns, you’ll link both flawlessly and should be picking up speed quickly. A flexy boot also performs well in snowparks, offering mobility and tweakability to freestylers. You can use it for occasional powder forays as well, it’s not its favourite playground but it holds its own if you are not expecting ultra high freeride performance.

Who is the Burton Invader Red snowboard boot designed for?

We recommend the boot to riders who want to discover the joys of snowboarding while keeping the budget low. It is also an excellent pick for occasional riders who want something easy to use for the few days they spend on a board every year.

  • Total Comfort Construction  :

Get an instantly broken-in feel right out of the box. Total Comfort's industry-exclusive construction eliminates the break-in period for a fit that feels just as good from day 1 to 100

  • DynoLite Outsole  :

Reducing weight by 20%, the DynoLite outsole offers superior cushioning, improved board feel, and consistent support throughout. This exclusive design is made entirely of a cushioning compound specially formulated to withstand repeated impact and freezing temps for long lasting shock absorption.

  • Shrinkage Footprint Reduction Technology  :

Shrinkage reduces the boot's overwall footprint one full size, meaning a men's size 10 fits like a size 10, but has the footprint of a typical size 9. Shorter, lighter, sleeker-never suffer from toe drag again.

  • Internal snow gussets  :

All 2012 Burton boot tongues have been upgraded with an internal gusset construction to completely seal the lower zone of the boot keeping feet warm and dry.
