Description

We offer skis for sale with defects in appearance. They are brand new, guaranteed by the manufacturer and have no construction-manufacturing defects. The serigraphy has been scratched during transport or storage in our warehouse.
A classification based on their condition has been established:
This ski has been classified as 3*, meaning that it has barely visible defects.

An accessible powder ski both technically and physically, the Prodigy 3.0 from Faction allows you to evolve in big snow conditions while maintaining a playful, maneuverable ski. You'll also discover that it's not limited to peuf and has lost none of the freestyle DNA common to the Faction Prodigy range.

What's on offer with the Faction Prodigy 3.0 ski?

With 106 mm in the skate, volume in the tips and a double rocker, the Prodigy 3.0 is equipped for deep snow. With it, you'll discover the joys of snowboarding, with real gliding comfort and very good lift. But it's not limited to fresh snow, as it keeps its dynamism on hard or transformed snow, thanks to the maneuverability offered by the double rocker and double radius. The double rocker facilitates pivoting, while the short radius at the front and rear of the ski makes it easy to enter turns, while the long radius in the center of the ski keeps the ski stable during long turns. Finally, the classic camber combined with the toned wood core provide consistent pop, stability and grip on hard snow. So, in the end, you've got a ski that's pretty versatile, that goes through a variety of snow conditions and never turns down a butter, a rotation and other freestyle tricks.

Who is the Faction Prodigy 3.0 ski designed for?

We recommend this model to intermediate/advanced skiers who want to progress in freeride or backcountry freestyle and therefore need an evolutionary ski that allows them to evolve in big snow conditions.

Tips and advice

On glisshop.co.uk, you may feel overwhelmed by the amount of products we sell. How can you find the right skis, which ones can suit your level, your style or your budget?

Your options:

1. The advanced search engine: You'll find it everywhere on our website, as a sidebar on our listing pages. It allows you to select conditions and refine your selection: brand, level, style, etc. When you select them, only the relevant products will show.

2. You can contact us on the 020 3129 3301: skis feature fine technologies and affect your safety. It is important to make sure that the skis you've selected will suit you. Call our landline and get in touch with our team for any questions regarding these products.

During the process or your order, we'll ask you to complete a form about the mounting of your bindings. With these details, we will be able to mount the bindings with the correct settings. The release value of the bindings is set by a professional skiman, and according to the norm AFNOR FD S 52-748.

If you don't have your own ski boots when you order, the bindings will be pre-mounted. The final settings can be done :

- by a shop if you are renting your ski boots

- by our skiman : you can call us for any technical questions. Our skiman will do the final settings for you. Telephone : 020 3129 3301

All skis you purchase on our website are factory-waxed and tuned. This means they are ready to hit the slopes. However, gear tends to wear and in order to keep it in its best shape, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.

Maintaining your skis is essential for a smooth glide and a solit grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your skis, or on how damaged they are. We recommend you to wax them every 10 riding days and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't overdo it. Tuning is basically scraping off material. If you do it too often, the edges will vanish after some time.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge sharpeners, etc. You can find them on our website.

All products benefit from a manufacturer guarantee, as long as the damage is caused by a manufacturing defect (may it be hidden or obvious).

Usually, the manufacturer guarantee lasts two years.

Only the manufacturer is able to decide if there has been a 'manufacturing defect' or a 'misuse'. Glisshop is only an intermediary between you and the manufacturer.

The manufacturer's guarantee will not apply if the problem comes from a misuse.
