The Pro C1 Skintec comes close to a performance ski while maintaining all the comfort of a leisure ski. It shines by a tolerant behavior and a very attractive price for a ski as technical as it is evolutionary.

What are the main characteristics of the Atomic Pro C1 Skintec Medium cross-country ski?

For a sporty leisure use in classic style, the first arguments sought are comfort, stability and ease of grip. The Pro C1 Skintec has been developed with an approach based on the pleasure of cross-country skiing, but still retains the rather tapered sidecut that pushes its behaviour towards the glide. The High Densolite SDS Integral core provides easy and homogeneous camber crushing, the grip point is easy to find and guarantees maximum comfort on the most difficult portions. The Skintec 100% Mohair skin system provides a very satisfying grip/slip ratio and a sporty behaviour during the gliding phases. Even if the classic is not the equal of skating in terms of gliding sensations, this technique is nevertheless a gliding discipline, and this is what Atomic has sought to demonstrate by providing a very forgiving ski with a top-of-the-range skin quality that prolongs the glide as much as possible. The BI1500 sole offers a glide appropriate to what is required of a ski in this range, and gains in efficiency thanks to the mohair skins that limit friction on all portions of the glide. The Medium camber is by far the most versatile of the range, and offers an irreproachable comfort when it comes to evolve on demanding profiles. A very good compromise with a very interesting price as Atomic knows so well how to do it.
