The SCS is a ski made to progress and teach young people the nuts and bolts of skating technique. The latest in a long line, this version leaves nothing to chance and offers fantastic comfort in skating.

What are the characteristics of the Fischer SCS Skate JR cross-country ski?

With the same sidecut as the adult racing skis, the SCS is clearly made to skate efficiently and give young skiers a maximum of sliding sensations. With a lightweight structure made of a wood core with air channels covered with a fiberglass veneer, it has a very satisfactory resistance to deformation which promotes the grip in skating. Dynamic, it nevertheless shows tolerance on flattening to allow time to find the gliding phase easily. Stable in direct trace, it helps to find balance on a single support in skating. Like the entire Fischer brand, it has IFP mounting plates for Turnamic bindings. These bindings are compatible with NNN, Prolink and Turnamic footwear standards.

Young skiers who simply want to get into cross-country skiing and especially skating. It offers all the technical guarantees and comfort necessary to learn the technique. It is a very good first ski to evolve and take good reference points, especially in the phases of gliding.
