Here’s the new Premium, a real masterpiece developed by Rossignol’s Race Service. This season, the World Cup race ski offers even more sensations than its previous versions.
What are the specifications of Rossignol X-IUM Premium Skating S2 IFP cross-country ski?
The S2 is the most versatile race ski by Rossignol. With its long camber and lively kick, it is probably the most efficient ski on hard snow on the current market. On this model, the manufacturing process is different. While the construction remains almost the same, a carbon plate has been added on the core, making the ski livelier than ever. It doesn’t stiffen the camber and the ski remains as accessible, but it offers outstanding liveliness as well as enhanced balance. As a result, you get a more aggressive skating feel and greater energy transmissions. The internal construction still features a Nomex core with a honeycomb structure and fiberglass laminates. Rossignol has equipped this ski with what’s best: the k7000 cold/versatile base, offering an ideal glide in most common snow temperatures ranging from -5°C to 2°C. The Rossignol X-IUM Premium Skating S2 IFP also comes with the Turnamic binding system, which slides onto an Integrated Fixation Plate that optimises the ski conduct. Toolless, it offers easier access in and out of the bindings, easier adjustment and a better ski flex. This binding system is compatible with Prolink, NNN and Turnamic boots.
