Pick a road that is rather steep and ride downhill by linking turns. You'll get a similar feel as on a surfboard or a snowboard. Depending on your tastes, you can go for a deck that is more or less flexible. Stiff for more reactivity, soft for more comfort. Get soft wheels in order to absorb vibrations.
Same as downhill but this time, your mission is to do tricks on your way. This means you will need harder wheels that can slide easily and probably a twin-tip board allowing you to ride switch or regular as you like. Of course, the board needs to be stiff and concave, you'll get more control, more reactivity and more performance.
Here, you can choose either a short freestyle board, reactive and agile, featuring a nose and tail for sending tricks or slides easily, or a longer board, softer on which you can walk, dance and lay cross steps and side winders.
