The result is enhanced glide because fluorine helps limit friction by eliminating the water film between the snow and the sole more quickly. It is suitable for fresh, unprocessed snow between 0 and -2°c with a moisture content of over 50%. Application is by chalk on the wax chamber and smoothing with a plug or iron.
