Alpine Ski Black Crows Anima

Freshly designed for 2016, Black Crows unveal the Anima, their new freeride / freestyle backcountry beast.

What can the Black Crows Anima do?

First thing we can say, the Anima is a ski of character. It likes deep fresh snow and works better off  than on piste. Its profile delivers an amazing floatiness with a pivot that’s super easy to find. The turning radius is pretty long which makes sense as it is a ski suited for hard charging riders who ride fast and ‘carve’ GS turns on bottomless powder. The kevlar reinforced construction provides tons of power and stability on the steeps with an excellent energy return.  The Anima requires advanced technical skills if you don’t want to struggle physically to tame the beast. Considering it is not a carving ski, it tends to lack of precision on groomers but in fairness, it’s not what you should expect of such a ski.  The Anima is a wild beast that likes it deep and rough, better prepare!

Who is the Black Crows Anima designed for?

The Anima is a good ski for advanced or expert skiers looking for something technical. With its sidecuts and 115mm waist, the Anima stands in between the Nocta and the Atris.

What are the main assets of the Black Crows Anima?

Floatation
Stability

Agility on powder
