Alpine Ski Black Crows Ova

The big mountains and the big all-mountain skis signed by Black Crows are amazing but when the powder is lacking and only the snowmakers are running, you better bet on the Ova: a unidirectional Single Beak shape model with a slight tip rocker and a flat tail. The sidecut is also narrower with an 85mm waist and a poplar and beech core to bring snappiness and cushioning to ride all day long.

What can the Black Crows Ova ski do?

This all-mountain ski is more slope orientated than the rest of the Black Crows’ range. It perfectly grips on the hard snow, provides great edge to edge changes and enjoys the flat tail that delivers a good kick out of turns. The Ova is an easy access ski quite intuitive that let it drives itself without wearing yourself out. It is also stunning on transformed snow, on soft spring snow or at the bottom of the hill. You can ride any slopes of the ski resort to get the most out of your ski trip no matter the weather forecast.

Who is the Black Crows Ova ski designed for?

This men’s all-mountain ski, is ideal for intermediate and confirmed skiers who spend most of their time on the slopes and able to adapt to any snow conditions. The Ova is evolutive enough to follow you all along your progression and take you up to the next level.

Structure - Construction

  • Laminated woodcore  :

Woodcores have been used in the ski industry for ages. Thanks to its mechanical properties, its durability and the amount of possible combinations in terms of flex and torsion, wood remains the reference for top-of-range cores. They provide stability, rebounce, eliminate vibrations, and are extremely durable.

  • Semi Cap  :

Semi-capped sidewalls are a good way to unify the sides with the top of the ski and maintain the strength of vertical sidewalls.

    Facilitates rotation.

Technology

  • Single beak and a half  : progressive rocker in the tip, camber underfoot, slightly raised tail.

Binding technologies

  • Anti Friction Device AFD  :

All Marker bindings are equipped with a moveable AFD (anti friction device) and therefore guarantee a highly precise release almost entirely unhindered by dirt, snow and ice! Individual adjustment of the AFD to the area of application ensures perfect functionality - from racing, for children’s bindings or on ski tours.

  • Compact Heel
  • Triple Pivot Light  :

The newly designed, compact toe features a horizontally inserted spring. Together with the gliding plate the gliding elements integrated into the sole plates ensure a very precise release behaviour which is comparable to all other Marker bindings. Why should tourers and freestylers make any compromises? An aluminium bridge on the top provides additional support without adding any extra weight.
