H16 BLIZZARD - gamme BULL

SKI 2016 : Présentation de la gamme BULL de chez BLIZZARD, par Jérémie, conseiller ski chez Glisshop.com

Alpine Ski Blizzard Bodacious

Blizzard brings back its line of freeride all-mountain skis known for the power they deliver. If you want to rule the entire mountain with a ski making no compromise, you’ve come to the right place.

What can the Blizzard Bodacious do?

The Bodacious belongs to the fat ski category and ranks second just behind the wonderful Spur. It comes with a more conventional waist width at 118mm and is available in several lengths. The ski is easier to manoeuver and yet keeps a similar temper with an impressive 27m turning radius, which basically means ‘I like to ride fast, if I turn it’s only for the style and not to slow down’. The ski is a real charger and if there is one thing you don’t have to worry about, it’s how deep the powder is. The generous sidecuts and the rockered profile keeps the ski flying above surface with a ridiculous ease. It’s an excellent freeride ski with a stiff construction giving it a lot of power when it comes to busting through crud or even run down groomed slopes.

Who is the Blizzard Bodacious designed for?

We recommend it to advanced and expert sporty riders looking for ultimate powder performance. The ski can still perform when powder is nowhere around but it requires skills. Wide and powerful, the Bodacious is demanding, you’ll have to earn the fun!

What are the main assets of the Blizzard Bodacious?

Floaty

Powerful

Stable

Ski Binding Salomon Warden MNC 13 t C130 White Black

The Warden 13 MNC binding combines the strength and precision you need on piste with the smooth progressive power transfer you need in deeper snow. MNC stands for Multi Norm Certified, which means it works with all types of soles – DIN, Touring and Walk To Ride (WTR) – and fits every normed boot in the market. So it’s ideal if you want one binding for your all-mountain and backcountry skiing. It has an Oversized Platform and U-Power Toe – a super-wide platform that provides maximum lateral power transmission plus precise steering, natural flex and strong dampening. It’s also 30% wider than comparable bindings so works well with progressive wider skis. Finally it has self-retracting Freeski Brakes that eliminate hang-ups on switch landings.
