Alpine Ski Blizzard Cheyenne

Good news ladies, Blizzard modernized the Cheyenne ski and reduced its weight by 20% in a snap. In order to realise this magic trick, Blizzard engineers removed the tail titanium reinforcement by a new ultra light poplar/beech wood core and an unidirectional carbon chassis. Blizzard deliver here a ski as powerful, even nimbler and less tiring than last year model.

What can the Blizzard Cheyenne ski do?

This new version of the Cheyenne ski is even more versatile than ever. The ski offers a great grip and kick out of turns on slopes thanks to its narrow waist allowing easy edge to edge transitions. With its feather weight, you can ride it effortlessly and attack the slopes all day long until the last chair. If you like leisure skiing and beautiful sunshiny days on the mountain the Blizzard Cheyenne is definitely for you. The ski is versatile and its rocker allow you to float in fresh powder on the side of the slopes. Don’t go too far because the 78mm waist won’t be wide enough for freeride sessions. It will be perfect to glide on groomed runs or soft and transformed snow.

Who is the Blizzard Cheyenne ski designed for?

Blizzard thought about intermediate skiers looking to improve their technical skills whilst having fun, and about confirmed skiers looking for a powerful all terrain ski whatever the snow conditions.

What are the main assets of the Blizzard Cheyenne ski?

Structure - Construction

  • Sandwich Construction Compound Sidewall  :

Sandwich construction with phenol sidewalls. The sandwich construction is part of a quality ski. This construction layers different materials chosen for their physical characteristics depending on the characteristics needed for the ski.

  • Flip core  :

The ski is molded in its final rockered shape allowing the ski to be pressed in a natural way. Enhanced floatation, increased stability and edge grip

  • Lite Core  :

Materials that are naturally strong but lightweight are strategically constructed for maximum performance

  • Carbon Reinforcement
  • WSD Woman Specific Design

Camber type

  • Classic camber  :

When the ski sits flat on the ground, the tip and the tail are in contact with it while the midsection rises above. It is this section that maximises the energy transmission towards the edge, ideal for piste skiing. It also provides a rebound which enhances energy return and pop.

Rocker type

  • Tip and tail rocker  :

Full length rocker perfect for surfing powder. It floats easily and ensures smooth and effortless turns. Landings are easier too.
