Young prodigies will have a blast with the Blizzard Cochise Jr ski, a 95mm waist ski perfectly adapted to their morphology. Get ready to float, thanks to its double rocker, the Cochise Jr will keep you on the surface even if you have a meter of pow under foot. With this all terrain, you will discover all the good spots of the ski resort.

Structure - Construction

  • Sandwich Construction Compound Sidewall  :

Sandwich construction with phenol sidewalls. It incorporates the IQ bindings system. The sandwich construction is part of a quality ski. This construction layers different materials chosen for their physical characteristics depending on the characteristics needed for the ski.

  • Duratec  :

Every individual detail of the construction of the ski was thought so as to optimize the resistance and the longevity of this one (Tip and tail protections, more important and better protected protective film, etc.)

  • Flip core  :

Blizzard Flip Core is the revolutionary new rocker technology for blizzard's freeride line. Natural spring, lightweight floating in powder, while yet retaining excellent stability are the immediate advantages of Blizzard's new construction. All of this is made possible through the flipped wood core, whose downward-facing convex side forms the natural rocker shape of the ski, without having to bend or artificially shape the ski in a press. This allows the rocker construction to reach a previously unknown level of stability and even pressure distribution.

Camber type

  • Classic camber  :

When the ski sits flat on the ground, the tip and the tail are in contact with it while the midsection rises above. It is this section that maximises the energy transmission towards the edge, ideal for piste skiing. It also provides a rebound which enhances energy return and pop.

Rocker type

  • Tip and tail rocker  :

Full length rocker perfect for surfing powder. It floats easily and ensures smooth and effortless turns. Landings are easier too.

Binding technologies

  • Anti Friction Device AFD  :

All Marker bindings are equipped with a moveable AFD (anti friction device) and therefore guarantee a highly precise release almost entirely unhindered by dirt, snow and ice! Individual adjustment of the AFD to the area of application ensures perfect functionality - from racing, for children’s bindings or on ski tours.

  • Compact Heel
  • Triple Pivot Light  :

The newly designed, compact toe features a horizontally inserted spring. Together with the gliding plate the gliding elements integrated into the sole plates ensure a very precise release behaviour which is comparable to all other Marker bindings. Why should tourers and freestylers make any compromises? An aluminium bridge on the top provides additional support without adding any extra weight.
