Alpine Ski Dynastar Speed Zone 9 CA Konect

The Dynastar Speed Zone 9 Carbon Konect is the new performance slope ski. It is endowed with the famous Powerdrive Inside technology: a construction using the last generation elastomer that follows the unevenness of the terrain and absorbs the slopes. With this new alpine ski you will enjoy a great ski/snow contact no matter the snow conditions.

What can the Dynastar Speed Zone 9 Ca Konect  ski do?

This 2017 Dynastar performance slope ski is quite accessible. You will take it in hand quickly without burning your thighs. Its carbon reinforcement is way more forgiving than the titanium one, but stays stiff enough to push on it, to take some speed and stay stable. The Speed Zone 9 Carbon Konect delivers stunning sensations on the slopes even if you don’t have crazy skills. You can evolve quickly, enjoy the tip rocker to ride beautiful turns intuitively and push on the flat tail coming out of turns for a good acceleration and crank up the speed. The revolution of the year is the insane gliding comfort delivered by the Powerdrive Inside technology. You will ride smoothly on hard snow on the morning and softer snow at the end of the day.

Who is the Dynastar Speed Zone 9 Ca Konect  ski designed for?

Physically and technically accessible, this ski will please intermediate and confirmed riders looking for an evolutive ski for athletic ski sessions. Snappy and comfortable, the Speed Zone 9 Carbon Konect has a great future ahead.

Shape

Structure - Construction

  •  :

The Active Woodcore combines the benefits of the Microcell Core and those from the woodcore. Comfort and stability meet liveliness and power. The Active Woodcore allows the ski to be both lively and damp for a better and softer contact feel.

  • Glass / Carbon  :

This fiberglass and carbon fiber complex harnesses the advantages of both materials, i.e. the flex and shock absorption of fiberglass and the performance and rigidity of carbon fiber. What's more, weight is significantly reduced, resulting in amazingly lightweight skis.

  • Wood / Fibro Metal core  :

A woodcore with a fibreglass and metallic structure help optimise stiffness, torsional flexibility and energy returns.

  • Sandwich Structure  :

Sandwich construction is part of a quality ski. This construction layers different materials chosen for their physical characteristics depending on the characteristics needed for the ski.

Camber type

  • Classic camber  :

When the ski sits flat on the ground, the tip and the tail are in contact with it while the midsection rises above. It is this section that maximises the energy transmission towards the edge, ideal for piste skiing. It also provides a rebound which enhances energy return and pop.

Rocker type

  • Tip rocker  :

Skis are more manoeuvrable, contact points on the skis are placed in order to reduce the effective running length, which allows easier pivot and a better float.

Interface

Various

  • Metal tip protector  :

Plastic or metal protector placed on the tip of the ski.
