Alpine Ski K2 Luvit 76

What can the K2 Luvit 76 ski do?

The Luvit 76 is the kind of all-mountain ski you try on the morning, keep having fun all day and stick to it for years. Its 14m radius allows every kind of turns, you will make short turns to make the run last longer and don’t go down too fast. The Luvit 76 is also a forgiving women ski that will preserve your thighs. It has no metal reinforcement and let itself ride easily. Its tip rocker facilitates turn initiations and a little demanding. This ski is not made for high speed and the skiers looking for performance will be limited. If you prefer gliding and go beside the slopes the Luvit 76 is for you.

Type of turns

  • Multi-turns

Shape

  • Directional (front tip)  :

The ski shape allows only a directional use.

Structure - Construction

  • Hybritech sidewalls  :

This wider-waisted construction combines the accuracy and power performance of sidewall underfoot with the lightweight and smooth turn initiation of cap construction. Offered exclusively on the Side series, Hybritech makes skis strong, accurate and powerful underfoot, while maintaining smooth initiation and easy exits from turns.

  • Composite core  :

high quality core made of composite materials. Very secure and forgiving.

Camber type

  • Classic camber  :

When the ski sits flat on the ground, the tip and the tail are in contact with it while the midsection rises above. It is this section that maximises the energy transmission towards the edge, ideal for piste skiing. It also provides a rebound which enhances energy return and pop.

Technology

  • All-Terrain Rocker  :

All-Terrain Rocker features an elevated tip for variable and soft snow performance, as well as camber underfoot for power, energy, and edge-hold in firmer conditions.

Simply put, All-Terrain Rocker offers versatility and ease in all snow conditions.

Rocker type

  • Tip rocker  :

Skis are more manoeuvrable, contact points on the skis are placed in order to reduce the effective running length, which allows easier pivot and a better float.

Interface

  • Marker K2/ERP System  :

The Marker K2/ERP (Energy Response Plate) is designed for advanced and recreational skiers alike. The ERP is also shorter and less stiff than the men’s system, allowing the ski flex to be smoother and reducing the weight by more than a half pound. This system utilizes either a 10.0 Q binding for performance or a Two-Linkage Toe and a fixed Compact2 Heel design for a lighter weight alternative that still provides precision and quickness underfoot.
