Alpine Ski K2 Poacher 75 Jr

K2 renew its junior ski range with a brand new Poacher 75 Jr which replaces the Shreditor 75 Jr. This new twin tip ski is as playful as its predecessor and keeps the same lively poplar core construction and a double tip rocker for an optimum handiness.

What can the K2 Poacher 75 Jr  ski do?

This is a little bomb, designed for young skiers with a shorten length and an adapted weight, the Poacher 75 Jr has the same characteristics as grown-up ski. Its classic camber gives it a maximum edge hold to attack the slopes and its core brings reactivity to push hard. With the Poacher 75 Jr the young prodigies will have great sensations carving and tons of fun in freestyle thanks to its twin tip shape. On the flat you can even ride in switch and its generous pop will allow you to send bigger tricks on the kickers. The Poacher 75 Jr has a 75mm waist which is way enough to have fun in fresh powder and ride fast between the slopes. Its rockers come into action and will make you float effortlessly and ease turns. Amazing!

Who is the K2 Poacher 75 Jr ski designed for?

This Junior twin tip will make every young rider looking for thrills crazy. Watch out, the Poacher 75 Jr needs technical skills. Far from being a beginner ski, this junior ski is a supercharged toy designed for intermediate to confirmed skiers looking for a versatile freestyle ski. It will allow your child to attack all terrains, improve his technique and land new tricks.

Manufacturer info :

Type of turns

  • Multi-turns

Shape

  • Bidirectional (twin tip)  :

The ski shape allows to ski forward or backward.

Structure - Construction

  • Cap Construction  :

Durable and lightweight cap skis are built by a sophisticated molding process that envelopes the core and internal materials with the top layer of the ski. Used throughout our ski line, cap constructions can be assembled with a variety of different cores. These variations, such as glass and/or metal materials, are the determining factors of the skis performance.

Camber type

  • Classic camber  :

When the ski sits flat on the ground, the tip and the tail are in contact with it while the midsection rises above. It is this section that maximises the energy transmission towards the edge, ideal for piste skiing. It also provides a rebound which enhances energy return and pop.

Technology

  • All-Terrain Rocker  :

All-Terrain Rocker features an elevated tip for variable and soft snow performance, as well as camber underfoot for power, energy, and edge-hold in firmer conditions.

Simply put, All-Terrain Rocker offers versatility and ease in all snow conditions.

Rocker type

  • Tip and tail rocker  :

Full length rocker perfect for surfing powder. It floats easily and ensures smooth and effortless turns. Landings are easier too.

Interface

  • Noodle Ski System  :

The Noodle Ski System is a totally unique technology for the Groms series. The disadvantage in most junior skis is the stiffness of the overall ski due to the minimum thickness required to retain binding screws. With the Noodle Tech binding system, the plate is actually fused to the ski, requiring no screws, so the thinner core provides a smooth-flexing ski. That means better comfort and control for a junior skier and, ultimately, more fun.
