Alpine Ski Line Soulmate 92

Say hello to Line’s new women specific freeride range, the Soulmate series, suited for skiers looking for new thrills and off-piste adventures.

What can the Line Soulmate 92 do?

The 92mm waisted ski features a light construction enhancing powder-friendliness and agility. It is obvious the ski has a bias towards powder and yet it delivers enjoyable alpine skills on groomers with a precise edge control and fast edge to edge transfers. If you ride really fast, you’ll notice the ski tends to chatter a bit but in fairness it’s no big trouble. That is the price to pay if you want something light, playful and enjoyable. Plus, if you buy this ski, you shouldn’t spend much time on groomers right? You’ll have much more fun surfing powder.

Who is the Line Soulmate 92 designed for?

Wider and more powerful than the Soulmate 86, the Soulmate 92 gets more demanding with your legs and needs an advanced or expert level to be managed.

What are the main assets of the Line Soulmate 92?

Lightweight
Floatation
Edge traction

Shape

  • Directional (front tip)  :

The ski shape allows only a directional use.

Structure - Construction

  • Maple Macroblock Core  :

100% maple core : this wood delivers the best ratio lightweight/strength. Better longevity for the camber and the reactivity.

  • Thin Tip™  :

Super thin core & sidewall in the tips are 100 grams lighter per pair for reduced swing weight and tip bounce.

Camber type

  • Classic camber  :

When the ski sits flat on the ground, the tip and the tail are in contact with it while the midsection rises above. It is this section that maximises the energy transmission towards the edge, ideal for piste skiing. It also provides a rebound which enhances energy return and pop.

Technology

  • Early Rise  :

Tip rise starts earlier in the ski so the tips effortlessly rise out of powder & stay on top without needing to sit back.

Rocker type

  • Tip rocker  :

Skis are more manoeuvrable, contact points on the skis are placed in order to reduce the effective running length, which allows easier pivot and a better float.

Various

  • 5-Cut Geometry  :

5 different sizes of sidecut radius shapes are blended into one, for intuitive control and unlimited turn shapes.

  • Directional Flex  :

The softer tip floats & initiates turns easily while the stiffer tail provides reliable powerful turn exits, & stability.

  • Semelle Sintered Base  :

    Sintered base
