Alpine Ski Rossignol Hero Master R21 WC

With its R21 plate, the Hero Master R21 WC by Rossignol is a ski of character. Coming straight from the world of competition, the ski is super stiff thanks to a fibro-metal reinforcement and a tip to tail camber without rocker. It delivers the ultimate edge grip for an aggressive skiing.

What can the Rossignol Hero Master R21 WC alpine ski do?

Hot hot! With the Hero Master R21 WC underfoot, you will shred corduroy like nobody’s business. Its world cup construction will allow you to attack the hardest slopes thoughtlessly. Ultra stable and with a surgical accuracy, this powerful ski will sparkle and slay big lines like a Super G ski. Thanks to its nervous flat tail the Hero Master R21 WC offers insane kick out of turns. With a ski that powerful you will feel like a real racer in the starting gate of a world cup race, only exception, you will have to slalom between tourists rather than gates. This ski is a little more accessible than the real pro model.

Who is the Rossignol Hero Master R21 WC ski designed for?

Watch out, this rocket packed of nitro can’t by launch by any skier. It is no rocket science, only the experts will have the physical conditions to master this supercharged and stiff ski. If you are an athlete and you have the required skills, you will tackle the slopes at Mach 2 with the Hero Master R21 WC all day long.

Type of turns

  • Multi-turns

Shape

  • Directional (front tip)  :

The ski shape allows only a directional use.

Structure - Construction

  • Wood core  :

Woodcores - used since ever in the ski industry - offer great performance. They provide stability and rebound, eliminate vibrations and are extremely durable.

  • Rectangular Sandwich  :

Modern sandwich construction with a wood core, vertical sidewalls, fiberglass and titanal or carbon reinforcements. Tho wood core gives to the ski a soul and an incredible touch feel.

The rectangular structure allows a better spread of the flex, and the vertical sidewalls allow a powerful edge grip.

  • Prop Tech  :

Transversal ski flex release system. In response to the new turn radius regulations issued by the FIS, we have worked hard on the actual structure of the ski in a bid to improve turn initiation and make handling more enjoyable. The result is the Prop Teck Technology. The Zicral top reinforcement layer is cut lengthwise at the tip of the ski for superior power transfer and ski control. This technology is used by all our World Cup racers.

  • Fibro/metal structure  :

The fiberglass and metal structure enhances flex and stiffness, increases resistance to torsion, and improves boosts on turn exits.

Camber type

  • Classic camber  :

When the ski sits flat on the ground, the tip and the tail are in contact with it while the midsection rises above. It is this section that maximises the energy transmission towards the edge, ideal for piste skiing. It also provides a rebound which enhances energy return and pop.

Various

  • Cascade Tip  :

The new Cascade Tip uses varying shapes of metal and fiberglass laminates at staggered lengths to provide a lighter extremity. The unique layered shapes control tip torsion which smoothes out turn initiation and improves full edge contact. The lighter weight tip improves the swing weight of the ski for quick and adaptable turn initiation.

  • Carbon Base Isosport

Ski Binding Look SPX 14 Rockerace White Icon

Look bindings dedicated to the alpine aqkiing race have from now on the new technology ROCKERFLEX.

This concept directly arises from prototypes used by the runners in the World Cup. With his reduced setting-up and a semi-suspended rear part, he allows to master even more effectively the flex of the ski while keeping an optimal precision: without control, the power is nothing!
