Rossignol Temptation

Alpine Ski Rossignol Temptation 88

The Temptation series has a name that suits it well. Designed with all-mountain performance in mind, the skis were made to cover your off-piste needs in case you were tempted to go past the ropes. Just try them and see what it feels like to have the whole mountain within reach.

What can the Rossignol Temptation 88 do?

The 88 is probably the Temptation that was the most skied last year and we still see women craving for it. It makes sense as the ski has a few charming attributes. The 88mm waist for instance, is the perfect width for effortless versatility. It delivers lightning fast edge to edge transfers on groomed snow or blasts through crud and floats powder with thh same ease. The generous sidecuts of the ski allow skiers to hop on and off piste and fulfill their needs as they like. The ski feels stable and nimble on all terrains, suited for sporty women who like to ride at an accelerated pace.

Who is the Rossignol Temptation 88 designed for?

Great ski for advanced and expert women skiers looking for a charging weapon. Whether the snowcats did their job or not, the ski delivers performance on the whole mountain and won't care much if the snow is groomed or if the slope is bumpy!

What are the main assets of the Rossignol Temptation 88?

Floatation
Versatility
Edge traction
Powerful

Structure - Construction

  • Air Tip  : A Patented Technology exclusive to Rossignol! The tip is air filled for maximum lightness and constructed to retain maximum torsional rigidity. The ski's weight is redistributed, freeing the tip and tail of the ski and providing greater ease, security and versatility. The fact that the center of gravity is closer to the center of the ski concentrates strength under the skier's feet. THE ROCKER REVOLUTION IS HERE!!!
  • Minicap Sandwich  :

Ultra durable construction built with wood cores, 30 degree sidewalls, fiberglass and high-tech laminates. The Mini Cap ROSSITOP to strengthens the top of the ski and is resistant to chipping for increased durability. The sidewalls of the skis are angled at a 30° incline to improve swing weight, reduce the overall weight of the ski, and enhance edging and durability.

  • Fiberglass / Wood core  :

The fiberglass structure enhances flex and stiffness, increases resistance to torsion, and improves boosts on turn exits.

The wood provides stability and rebound, eliminates vibrations, and has a great durability.

  • Carbon reinforcement  :

    Carbon provides stiffness and lightweight.

Camber type

  • Classic camber  :

When the ski sits flat on the ground, the tip and the tail are in contact with it while the midsection rises above. It is this section that maximises the energy transmission towards the edge, ideal for piste skiing. It also provides a rebound which enhances energy return and pop.

Technology

  • Auto Turn Rocker  :

Rossignol's Autoturn is engineered with 70% traditional high camber underfoot while the remaining 30% of the tip and tail features low rocker. The high camber underfoot delivers power, energy, and edge grip for on-piste performance. The subtle rocker tip and tail delivers easy steering, and effortless speed control for better versatility in any terrain or snow type.

Rocker type

  • Tip and tail rocker  :

Full length rocker perfect for surfing powder. It floats easily and ensures smooth and effortless turns. Landings are easier too.

Interface

  • OPEN  :

OPEN models can be mounted with telemark or touring bindings.

Various

  • Extended Sidecut  :

Oversize takes the benefits of the aggressive sidecuts of carving skis and combines it with modern waist widths. The aggressive oversized tip & tail dimensions produces strong edging, power and precision. The wider dimension of the waist increases stability and easy turn transition. Combining big sidecut with modern waist widths produces accurate edge feel and unprecedented stability.
