Alpine Ski Scott Punisher 95

From Dane Tudor to Loïc Collomb-Platton, many pro skiers are relying on Scott’s freeskis for beating records and pushing their own limits. The Punisher skis are performance machines made to shred.

What can the Scott Punisher 95 do?

The Punisher 95 comes with moderate sidecuts and a 95mm waist ensuring optimal support whatever the terrain. The ski feels extremely nimble on powder where it floats naturally and manoeuvers with ease. Its twin rocker and its 3D sidecuts enhance the performance delivered and make it incredibly versatile. The ski initiates turns intuitively regardless of the terrain and performs with added stability. The 95mm underfoot platform isn’t too wide for running efficiently on the hardpack. Edge to edge transitions are quick and easy and you get an excellent traction. If this isn’t enough, most aspiring riders can session the park if they want. The ski is poppy and agile, it handles park features and rails as if it was easy. This means the Punisher 95 can ride anything the mountain has to offer. From powder to park through pistes and crud, there isn’t a thing that can stop the ski.

Who is the Scott Punisher 95 designed for?

This is a good pick for intermediate or advanced riders looking for a complete all-mountain ski offering playfulness and agility in all conditions. It is as versatile as it gets and it will help you make it to the next level.

What are the main assets of the Scott Punisher 95?

Structure - Construction

  • Tip to tail woodcore  :

The long woodcore gives the ski a more consistent flex and more fluidity through transitions.

  • Sandwich construction with slanted sidewalls and elliptic laminates  : FORGIVENESS & VERSATILITY - SSCL combines a laminate top and bottom sheet with a traditional sandwich sidewall construction. SCOTT optimized material usage to provide a construction that drastically reduces the weight of the ski. Specific braiding and different combinations of laminates guarantee the best possible construction for their intended use.

Camber type

  • Classic camber  :

When the ski sits flat on the ground, the tip and the tail are in contact with it while the midsection rises above. It is this section that maximises the energy transmission towards the edge, ideal for piste skiing. It also provides a rebound which enhances energy return and pop.

  • Twin-Tip Rocker L  :

Twin rocker places rocker on both the tip and tail of twin tip skis to allow for maximum float when riding forward or switch. Tail rocker also improves ski handling by allowing the tail of the ski to sit deeper in the snow bringing the tip up resulting in total domination in deep snow.

Twin-Tip Rocker comes in three different sizes S, M and L.

Rocker type

  • Tip and tail rocker  :

Full length rocker perfect for surfing powder. It floats easily and ensures smooth and effortless turns. Landings are easier too.

  • 3D Sidecut  :

Revolutionary technology combining 2 radius with a central straight sidecut, allowing twin rocker skis to be brilliant on off pist with an excellent edge grip on pistes.

  • Freestyle Finish  :

Scott Freestyle Finish is especially designed for a more playful freestyle ski. The main difference from the factory finish is the bigger base edge angle of 1.6°. This larger angle makes the ski easier to spin and more forgiving on landings and rails.

Binding technologies

  • Anti Friction Device AFD  :

All Marker bindings are equipped with a moveable AFD (anti friction device) and therefore guarantee a highly precise release almost entirely unhindered by dirt, snow and ice! Individual adjustment of the AFD to the area of application ensures perfect functionality - from racing, for children’s bindings or on ski tours.

  • Compact Heel
  • Triple Pivot Light  :

The newly designed, compact toe features a horizontally inserted spring. Together with the gliding plate the gliding elements integrated into the sole plates ensure a very precise release behaviour which is comparable to all other Marker bindings. Why should tourers and freestylers make any compromises? An aluminium bridge on the top provides additional support without adding any extra weight.
