Alpine Ski CD K2 Sight DA***

We are selling items with cosmetic defects. They are new and unused, guaranteed by the manufacturer, and have no construction faults. The graphics have been scratched during transit or storage. The skis have been drilled and repaired.
We rank them according to their state:
This ski has been ranked 3*, it has barely noticeable defects.

vIf we had to pick one quality out of all, it'd be the agility of the Sight. With an 85mm waist and a Jib Rocker profile, turning with the ski is as intuitive as walking. Add to this a construction delivering tons of pop with a poplar core and a triax fiber contruction and you get an outstanding park ski souped up with freestyle DNA. Ideal for park shredding, the Sight backs you up with grip, stability and grip, also making sure that if you go for a run in the pipe it's gonna be the winning one.

What our testers say : This is the ultimate weapon for linking tricks through the park. The ski also feels great on piste where it works like an alpine carving ski. The ski has got pretty big sidecuts with a medium underfoot camber. Advanced freestylers should like it as it makes the ski pretty responsive and versatile.

Note: the sale of this item implies a personalisation of the product (drilling the skis). The right of cancellation cannot be exercised on these products, according to the Article L121-20-2 of the French Consumer Code. No refund or exchange will be accepted.

Structure - Construction

  • Poplar core  :

K2's Adventure skis use an Aspen/Paulownia blend core. Lower-density Aspen and even lighter-weight Paulownia allow us to reduce the weight that results from the added surface area of wider skis. In addition, the Bio Core is 15% lighter than the fir/aspen blend traditional in our all-mountain skis.

  • Triaxial braiding  :

Triaxial braiding consists of braiding fiberglass around a wood core to provide torsional rigidity for added control. Developed in 1988 by K2 engineers, the patented triaxial braiding machine interlocks strands of fiberglass around a milled wood core. This unique method produces skis with great torsional strength, that maintains the lively flex patterns of the wood core.

  • TwinTech  :

This new Twin Tip specific construction process increases the durability of sidewall skis. A traditional sidewall construction produces a 90 degree angle where the top material and sidewall meet. The Twin Tech construction actually rolls the top material into the sidewall reducing the angle that is prone to abuse.

Camber type

  • Classic camber  :

When the ski sits flat on the ground, the tip and the tail are in contact with it while the midsection rises above. It is this section that maximises the energy transmission towards the edge, ideal for piste skiing. It also provides a rebound which enhances energy return and pop.

  • All-Terrain Rocker  :

All-Terrain Rocker features an elevated tip for variable and soft snow performance, as well as camber underfoot for power, energy, and edge-hold in firmer conditions.

Simply put, All-Terrain Rocker offers versatility and ease in all snow conditions.

Rocker type

  • Tip and tail rocker  :

Full length rocker perfect for surfing powder. It floats easily and ensures smooth and effortless turns. Landings are easier too.

  • Tip and tail plates and rivets  :

K2 introduced tip and tail rivets 7 years ago on the Factory Series skis. They were functionally developed for additional protection, reinforcing the tip and tail of the ski against delamination. Although function is still the primary purpose, K2 has evolved the rivets and plates into stylized components.

  • Swap Base  :

The bases of these skis can come in two different color ways, depending of how the colors are swapped on the base. This gives two looks to the same ski, and ensures you are not rocking the exact same pair as your buddy who just picked up the same pair of skis.

  • Bidirectional (twin tip)  :

The ski shape allows to ski forward or backward.

Ski Binding Salomon Z10 B90 Nr Sc Black White

High performance automatic binding. What makes this product special is its wings that are oversized which increases the boot/binding contact surface and enhances lateral energy transfers. For skiers with recreational or intermediate level weighing from 40 to 100kg.

The only issue with that binding could be its weight, 2940g by pair, when the standard version is about 2280g.

A high-performance automatic binding. The peculiarity of this product is at the level of the fins which were oversized to increase the contact area binding / shoe and offer a better side transmission. For a level skier leisure to intermediary of a weight of 40 in 100kg approximately.
