Snowboard Apo Spencer

Note: The actual colour of the board's base may be different than the one shown on the picture. Brands make them randomly.

First stunning tricks in the pipe at just 15 years old, then 4 medals at the Winter X Games slopestyle even from 2008 to 2014, slopestyle world champion in 2013...The only thing Spencer O'Brien needs to have a complete CV is a gold medal at the next Olympics. And yet, she still finds the time to design her own board.

What can the APO Spencer do?

Ladies, you are going to get a blast. If you've always dreamt to be the queen of the park, cease the opportunity. The Spencer is a freestyle rockstar. No room for rockers, Apo only used traditional camber to make the board as powerful as possible and give it more ollie power. All you have to do is work on your creativity and let your style speak. The board is extremely agile and responsive. If you need something lively that can link park features with ease, the Spencer is a safe bet. This twin stick is an absolute blast, a real trick machine for all park rats. The other good news is, the board is versatile and you can easily carve on groomers and venture through the deep when you need to take a break from the park.

Who is the APO Spencer designed for?

High-end pro model, best suited for advanced and expert women riders looking for high freestyle performance. The Spencer is a performer, make sure you are one too.

Structure - Construction

  • Double Flex  :

The core is slightly hollowed out between the feet, to enhance manoeuvrability while keeping all the energy into the board.

  • 2D Pop Fiberglass  :

2D Pop fiberglass is woven in parallel and in perpendicular of the board's axis. It provides a great pop and keeps the board manoeuvrable with a good torsional flex.

  • X Carbon  :

X and V shaped carbon strips are placed on the nose and tail fo the board. For better pop, responsiveness, and kicks out of turns.

Shape - Sidecuts

  • Shape Freestyle  :

90% Twin Tip: Tip and tail radiuses are nearly identical, the woodcore and inserts are centred, and the sidecut radius is much shorter, making these boards the perfect freestyle toy.

Rocker - Camber

  • Positive  :

Cambered boards are designed for the most technical rides, where you need the most control and precision with an extra level of vivacity. Year after year, it is the good old camber that remains the most efficient board feature for riding park and slope!

  • Sintered 4000 Base  :

The higher molecular density makes these bases the reference in terms of durability and gliding performance, especially on very cold snow. Be sure to wax your base often to get the most out of it.

  • Structurn base  :

Shred faster on wet snow, and even green patches, with our golf ball structure technology.

  • Stone Grind  :

Stone ground bases glide much better on wet snow thanks to the structure which enables the water drops to escape quicker under the board.

Snow Binding Flow Juno Purple

To make things even, Flow designed the Juno for women at the same time as they designed their new Nexus for men. Both bindings are similar and adapted to each gender. The Juno is a blend of features found on other bindings. It inherits the fibreglass baseplate of the Omni and the composite highback of the Minx. This winning combination offers forgiveness and reactivity, allowing riders to face any terrain the mountain has to offer.

What can the Flow Juno Purple do?

The Juno was tailor made for all-mountain riding. It ensures solid support and precision and gives a nice cushy feel maximising comfort on difficult terrains. It also makes riding less tiring and you can rider harder for longer. The Juno is a good option if you have varying styles. If feels soft and forgiving when you ride at cruising speed but it becomes aggressive and lively when you start pushing a little. The binding turns the whole mountain into a new giant playground and will take you from peak to park through the trees with style and ease.

Who is the Flow Juno Purple designed for?

More forgiving than the Omni, the Juno is best suited for intermediate or advanced women riders who like being able to ride everywhere without worrying about their equipment. The binding is reliable and versatile, perfectly adapted for an all-terrain use. If you are still sceptical, have a look at its price, it will help you decide ;)

Baseplate - Chassis

  • 2,5° BankBeds  :

    Improves comfort and energy transfer

  • Baseplate Glass-Filled Nylon Rockered  :

Engineered to transmit energy directly to the board without loss of efficiency. The minimized contact area with the board channels your power where it needs to go while the rocker corners of the baseplate allow any type of board to maintain optimal flex. Featured on all Flow bindings

  • Spoiler Uniback  :

Lightweight 1-piece hibacks that fully recline for easy Dual-Entry & Exit and the comfortable EVA pads reduce the pressure on your legs.

Straps - Buckles

  • A-Fusion Powerstrap  :

Giving you more feel and optimal performance, the unique Flow PowerStraps cover a larger area of the foot especially your critical mid-foot zone. PowerStraps don’t need to be cranked down which avoids cramping, fatigue and cold toes while transferring more power directly to your board edges. They also keep a stable position for true SpeedEntry convenience.

The FUSION PowerStrap is 3D-shaped, fuses the ankle & toe zones over the midfoot, and is padded for a super comfortable form-fit to your boot.

Featuring our new LSR-buckles, FUSION PowerStraps fuse the worlds of SpeedEntry and SideEntry so you can opt for either based on individual preference or the situation you are in.

Choose between either the Symmetrical I-FUSION for great all around support and freestyle feel or the Asymmetrical

A-FUSION for extra lateral support and responsiveness, the FUSION PowerStraps deliver the very best in comfort

    and performance.

  • LSR - Locking Strap Ratchets  :

These innovative Locking Slap Ratchet (LSR) buckles give you the option to easily get in and out bindings any which way you like. Whether SpeedEntry or DualEntry, they lock down to secure your preferred footstrap tightness.
