Snowboard Bataleon Whatever

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Bataleon Whatever is a freestyle rockstar that comes with a bulletproof construction incorporating carbon and kevlar, both known for their lightweight, durability and reactivity. They make the board stiffer suited for an aggressive riding in all conditions. Directional twin, the board comes with a Reactor core which gives it  tons of personality. And since Bataleon made it, they gave it their patented 3BT profile with concave tips for a more playful and catchfree feel.

What can the Bataleon Whatever snowboard do?

The 2017 Whatever is derived from the Goliath and was given a slightly softer flex making it a touch easier to manage and more playful without compromising its power and its reactivity. This means the board has a bias towards freestyle and riders who need to fine tune their tricks are going to get on well with it. The board’s poppy and agile and links tricks with style and ease and yet it remains versatile and can ride off the park without a problem. Grippy and responsive, you can carve high speed turns or float pow as if it was natural and feel like you’re having a freeride board on your feet.

Who is the Bataleon Whatever snowboard designed for?

The board is less demanding than a Goliath, the softer flex makes it suited for a larger crowd of riders. With an intermediate or an advanced level, you’ll know how to make the best of it. It is an excellent freestyle/all-mountain snowboard that should belong to everyone’s quiver.

Structure - Construction

  • Carbon Kevlar  :

Kevlar can stop a speeding bullet and also make your snowboard lighter and snappier in similar ways as carbon. It is used in different ways to fine-tune a board's ride characteristics.

  • Biaxial Fiberglass  :

Weaved biaxial fiberglass are positioned at 0°/90° for more torsional flex. Great performance at carving or park.

  • Reactor Core  :

Full Poplar with beech hardwood running tip to tail along the edges to improve the board's all-mountain riding characteristics. Beech is stronger than poplar and fortifies the board's sidewall and edges against impacts while also generating more precise edge hold, pop and response along the edges.

  • Solid Walls  :

The Go-to material for flex, wieght savings and durability along the edge

Rocker - Camber

  • Freestyle TBT  :

Shape optimized for freestyle with fast edge-to-edge transitions.

Other

  • Super Slick X  :

Not a basic extruded base. It has the highest molecular content available for an extruded base. That means it's super slick, durable and maintenance-free.

Snow Binding Drake Supersport Black

The Supersport is a name that counts in the snowboard industry. It is an iconic binding in Nitro's lineup and many riders have been in love with it for years. The good news with the new 2016 version is that it was upgraded. The binding comes with a new baseplate named Light Saber. It delivers better response and higher flexiblity to freestylers. Speaking of flexibility, it was fine tuned on the highback to have a binding that adjusts better to your style. It even comes with the magnesium buckles improving lightweight and giving the binding a better overall finish. Seems like the Supersport is everything but dead!

What can the Drake Supersport Black do?

The Supersport is a freestyle oriented binding that remains versatile enough to face the entire mountain. Like any decent high-end binding, it delivers power and precision and ensures support to hard chargers. You can push hard it will respond fast. In the park, you'll appreciate its lateral tweakability and the great contact feel with the board. If your style is not good, you won't be able to blame the binding anymore.

Who is the Drake Supersport Black designed for?

If you are an advanced or expert rider and if you are looking for a durable, light and precise binding that allows you to destroy the park and the backcountry, then the Supersport is a safe pick.

Baseplate - Chassis

  • Light Saber  : The Light Saber is an evolution of the Delta Light base plate. Drake reduced the contact points to the minimum, in order to give you a better feeling while riding, whilst reducing the weight. The heelcup positionning is totally toolless: 3 different positions, adjustable with two levers placed on the baseplate. Last but not least, the new Light Saber baseplate gives you the opportunity to adjust the highback independently from the ankle straps, this means 13 different customizable combinations to suit your riding style.
  • Natural Cant Evo  : The Natural Cant Evo has a total new design and it’s totally toolless; beside that it features the Rebound heel absorber low density cushioning to increase in the heel area the absorption of the vibrations and the dampening in landings. Thanks to the new Natural Cant Evo pad your riding will feel totally different.

Highback

  • Prime  : This new highback will revolutionize your riding style. A central spine gives the strength needed to support any pressure and the side vents give extra flex for your turns and rotations.

Straps - Buckles

  • Mg12 Buckles
  • Convertible Toe Glove  :

This revolutionary uretane strap ensures perfect fit over the toe of the boot. Its two flexible wings go around the toes,

automatically forming a gapless bond between strap and boot, which keeps them secure in the binding. They can also be

positioned in their original mode across the front of the toes.

  • Gran Turismo Ankle strap  :

The new GT strap offers you the right comfort and lightness you need. GT ankle strap has been developed for riders that like to push hard all day long without pressure points.

Various

  • Disc Classic  :

The original Drake disc that mounts on 4-hole and 3-hole pattern without hassles. Don't waste time looking for ways to rig a custom stance. The classic gives you the option to personalize your drake binding setup with any board brand you ride.
