There is the Custom for those who like to charge hard and fast on and off piste, and there is the Custom Twin for those who want to do the same thing and keep the park option open. It comes with the same specifications, responsiveness and versatility, but has a stronger freestyle character.
What can the Burton Custom Twin snowboard do?
The board is quite similar to its bigger sister the Custom, it features a cambered profile, a powerful carbon-reinforced construction, a light and durable woodcore and everything needed for boosting the board’s personality. The main and only difference comes from the twin tip shape. Perfectly symmetrical, you can ride the board switch or regular as you like which makes it perfect for a park use. Switch landings, switch wallrides, nose presses and butters are going to be your daily bread. Keep in mind that the Custom Twin remains a powerful board with tons of pop, it’s ultra responsive and stable at high speed which also means it’s not as forgiving as an entry level board. It prefers black runs than beginner kickers.
Who is the Burton Custom Twin snowboard designed for?
Park board for park rats looking for a lively and responsive ride. The Custom Twin is not the most forgiving board ever and requires technique and skills to be managed. It is a safe pick for freestyle-oriented all-mountain riders as well who want something versatile and fun.

The wood grain is positioned along the toe and heel edges on two continuous zones, perpendicular to the rest of the wood core, for consistent edge-hold and added strength.
Carbon Highlights optimize each layer of the fiberglass matrix and adds a full tip-to-tail carbon layer to reduce weight and fine tune torsional feel to achieve different ride characteristics. 45° fiber angle provides a more aggressive ride.
Stronger and lighter woods target specific areas of the core to provide pop, strength, and reduced weight.
Squeezebox technology is a new system with a thinner underfoot construction and thicker elsewhere which gives more pop and more reactivity to the board.
The shape is perfectly symmetrical for a balanced ride that’s equally versatile when ridden regular or switch. Jib, spin, stomp, and butter with a greater balance of freestyle mobility and cat-like stability no matter which way you point it.
An evolution of a traditional camber shape, our NEW Purepop Camber profile features subtle flat zones just outside your feet to amplify pop and add playfulness to the snap and response of camber. Early rise and tail sections spin and float with a catch-free feel.
Symmetrical flex, from nose to tail, for a perfect balance when riding switch or regular.
This Burton-exclusive technology allows us to maximize pop and strength by overbuilding the board, then putting it in a machine that breaks in the board for you. Whether you choose to ride Springloaded, Rocker, or Camber, rest assured that with Infinite Ride™ your board will maintain its flex, pop, and feel from the first day forward, season after season.
Edges slightly sharper under the feet for optimal edge hold in any conditions. Works with Off-Axis technology.
A tapered Tip and Tail thickness reduces swing weight for easier mobility.
Infusing a specially formulated wax deep into the pores of this extra-absorbent, high-density sintered material results in an ultra-durable base that stays Wide F!#@ing Open all season in any condition.
Now on more boards and evolved for greater performance, The ChannelM6 has staked its claim as snowboarding’s most direct connection. Focusing power through a central connection that acts as a backbone for the board’s internal tech, it also lets you easily micro-adjust your stance width and angles with all binding formats including EST™, Re:Flex™, and Disc. The upgrade to M6 means Burton is now using a standardized hardware size that improves upon performance and ease-of-use, and allows for compatibility with select competitor bindings, making it a choice for any rider.

Buttery and playful for laid-back, relaxed cruising.
One material throughout creates consistent response and feel for all-terrain domination.
FullBEd cushioning offers a full coverage, cushioned platform that maximizes comfort while minimizing fatigue. Anchored to the baseplate, its stealth trap door design lifts at the heel on disc bindings and the toe on Re:FlexTM bindings, making it easy to access the mounting hardware.
This exclusive technology eliminates hardware and weight, and allows you to adjust your Forward Lean and hi-back rotation independently.
The higher the Forward Lean angle on your hi-backs, the quicker your heel-edge turns. Crank ’em forward for icy hits in the pipe like Danny does, or back ’em off for jibbing like Keegan. For mind-blowing micro-adjustability, check out the tool-free DialFLAD™ and MicroFLAD™ systems that give you twice the options of our traditional FLAD.
The simplicity of a one-piece hi-back means immediate response. Through material blends we then manipulate the overall flex profile—from buttery to responsive.
Riders who prefer a more playful and relaxed feel will dig the NEW Zero Forward Lean design on select hi-backs. As always, you can still choose to crank ‘em forward for quicker control when carving or climbing icy pipe walls.
Polished, chrome-plated aluminum and lightweight polycarbonate levers give you season after season of buttery smooth and reliable ratcheting power. Designed and built by us, not some shady supplier.
Our Flex Slider makes strapping in a breeze with a strategically stretched hinging zone that allows the heel strap to flex and fall fully open. Thanks to science of forced molecular alignment, the Flex Slider is also stronger, making it worthy of the lifetime warranty.
