Flow NX2 2017
The Landlord is back for 2017, well established in Burton’s lineup, it is a well-balanced board offering consistent and versatile performance on varying terrains. Oriented towards freeride due to a directional shape, the board can deal with anything the mountain has to offer.
What can the Burton Landlord snowboard do?
We are on a directional board that will allow you to explore the entire mountain from any side. It is a board of character with mid-to-stiff flex ideally suited for riders who like to have a bit of power under the feet but who also want to have a slightly forgiving board that remains under control no matter what. It feels compact and works very well on different snow conditions. The rockered nose enhances powder floatation and slush riding, it keeps the board nimble, manoeuverable and effortless to steer. On hard snow and crud, it’s on the flex and the camber that you can rely. They deliver an excellent grip and a great stability at high speed with powerful energy returns. You get solid boosts out of turns and can ride at the speed you like no matter the terrain.
Who is the Burton Landlord snowboard designed for?
It is a freeride-oriented board for those who like to ride past the ropes. Powerful and precise, you will need a good technique for controling the board. Advanced or expert level recommended.

Carbon Highlights optimize each layer of the fiberglass matrix and adds a full tip-to-tail carbon layer to reduce weight and fine tune torsional feel to achieve different ride characteristics. 45° fiber angle provides a more aggressive ride.
A Burton exclusive. Manipulating the angles and direction of wood grain placement within the core results in ultimate edge-hold, response, and durability. In four separate zones, the wood grain is perpendicular to the core adjacent to The Channel - the area from which a rider's power emanates - for ultimate strength and edge control.
Use of end-grain woods in impact zones allows us to swap heavier woods for lighter weight species without sacrificing strength.
By integrating carbon fleece into the classic Squeezebox profile, we've loaded up our highest performance core profiling with more pop. Layered just outside your feet, the carbon enables almost instant response in the tip and tail
Classic shape for a versatile use. The nose is slightly longer than the tail.
Directional camber and with rocker at the nose allows for a much shorter and more maneuverable board
Twin or directional is the age-old question for creative rippers like Terje. Balanced Freeride Geometry end the debate with setback camber and a sidecut that is centered on your stance to create a twin freestyle feel when riding flat base. On edge it turns tight and quick with the float and prowess expected from a directional deck.
This versatile flex enhances tail's pop and stiffens the nose for a better control on all terrains.
This Burton-exclusive technology allows us to maximize pop and strength by overbuilding the board, then putting it in a machine that breaks in the board for you. Whether you choose to ride Springloaded, Rocker, or Camber, rest assured that with Infinite Ride™ your board will maintain its flex, pop, and feel from the first day forward, season after season.
A tapered Tip and Tail thickness reduces swing weight for easier mobility.
Infusing a specially formulated wax deep into the pores of this extra-absorbent, high-density sintered material results in an ultra-durable base that stays Wide F!#@ing Open all season in any condition.
Now on more boards and evolved for greater performance, The ChannelM6 has staked its claim as snowboarding’s most direct connection. Focusing power through a central connection that acts as a backbone for the board’s internal tech, it also lets you easily micro-adjust your stance width and angles with all binding formats including EST™, Re:Flex™, and Disc. The upgrade to M6 means Burton is now using a standardized hardware size that improves upon performance and ease-of-use, and allows for compatibility with select competitor bindings, making it a choice for any rider.

The NX2 Fusion White Green is part of the high-end models of Flow’s catalogue. A bit more forgiving than its big sister the GT, its stays quite demanding and it has a unique strap that reinforced the stiffness. If you add a 2.5° canting you will be perfectly set on your board, the support becomes super accurate and powerful. Flow also developed a cushioned base plate especially on the tail to absorb landings, shocks and vibrations.
What can the Flow NX2 Fusion White Green boot do?
We have here a versatile freestyle binding. The NX2 Fusion White Green permits to attack any snowy faces of the mountain thoughtlessly. On the slopes, it will provide a great holding to carve at max speed and let all your buddies on the spot. If you prefer the wide open virgin spaces, drop in and shred some pow. The aluminium construction of the baseplate and the highback in fiberglass is more than resistant and ready to absorb your most savage sessions. With its OC-Kush cushioning system, it is such a joy to take off on the smallest kickers and land without smashing your knees.
Who is the Flow NX2 Fusion White Green boot designed for?
The NX2 is a reference of the bindings with a dual entry (back entry and classic entry). It is advised for confirmed and expert skiers who love smashing powder and are looking for a super strong binding.

Improves comfort and energy transfer
OC-Kush Baseplate with cushioning inserts at the heel and toes to eliminate chatter and dampen landings.
The modular hibacks separate the lower and the upper zones for targeted strength, support, and flex where you need it. The Alu ModBacks offer more stiffness and response, while the GF-Nylon ModBacks offer a lively and fun feel. On the NX2, Fuse, and ISIS series, the lower zone also automatically triggers N.A.S.T.Y.
Giving you more feel and optimal performance, the unique Flow PowerStraps cover a larger area of the foot especially your critical mid-foot zone. PowerStraps don’t need to be cranked down which avoids cramping, fatigue and cold toes while transferring more power directly to your board edges. They also keep a stable position for true SpeedEntry convenience.
The FUSION PowerStrap is 3D-shaped, fuses the ankle & toe zones over the midfoot, and is padded for a super comfortable form-fit to your boot.
Featuring our new LSR-buckles, FUSION PowerStraps fuse the worlds of SpeedEntry and SideEntry so you can opt for either based on individual preference or the situation you are in.
Choose between either the Symmetrical I-FUSION for great all around support and freestyle feel or the Asymmetrical
A-FUSION for extra lateral support and responsiveness, the FUSION PowerStraps deliver the very best in comfort
These innovative Locking Slap Ratchet (LSR) buckles give you the option to easily get in and out bindings any which way you like. Whether SpeedEntry or DualEntry, they lock down to secure your preferred footstrap tightness.
New Active Strap Technology
SpeedEntry has never been more convenient without sacrificing the superior performance, comfort and power transmission that Flow bindings are famous for. With the revolutionary New Active Strap Technology, the strap automatically lifts up when you open the reclining hiback and actively tightens again when you close the hiback. N.A.S.T.Y. reduces friction and creates more room so that getting in and out of your bindings is faster and easier than ever.
