Snowboard Burton Process Off-Axis

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Off Axis version of the Process is a poppy board that every good freestyler should own. Camber, construction and profile, everything was carefully designed to give the board the character of a twin with the personality of an all-mountain

What can the Burton Process Off Axis snowboard do?

This version of the Process features a Pure Pop Camber which is basically a traditional camber running through the midsection and flat zones from inserts to tips, all wrapped up with asymmetrical sidecuts. The outcome is a more technical board, a little more demanding, with more pop and tons of power under the belt. You get a real park board on your feet, lively, responsive, stable, precise and nimble, ideally suited for hitting the biggest kicker in the park and charge every rail at full speed, without asking questions. The board’s profile allows for on and off piste riding as well, the board can carve trenches or float the deep without any problem.

Who is the Burton Process Off Axis snowboard designed for?

We recommend it to advanced and expert riders who want a powerful twin under the feet. The Process Off Axis is demanding and unforgiving, it’s for technical riders with good freestyle skills who know how to manage a real park board.

Structure - Construction

  •  :

Off-Axis tweaks key technologies that vary by board to match the angles of your typical park rider's stance. This anatomical alignment results in better toe ans heel grip, natural flex around the bindings, and a smoother feel during take-offs and landings.

  • Dualzone™ EGD™  :

The wood grain is positioned along the toe and heel edges on two continuous zones, perpendicular to the rest of the wood core, for consistent edge-hold and added strength.

  • Triax fiberglass  :

Versatile flex and response for everything from mini to mega shred.

  • FSC™ Certified Super Fly II™ 700G Core  :

Stronger and lighter woods target specific areas of the core to provide pop, strength, and reduced weight.

  • Off-Axis Squeezebox  :

Squeezebox technology is a new system with a thinner underfoot construction and thicker elsewhere which gives more pop and more reactivity to the board.

Shape - Sidecuts

  • Shape Twin  :

The shape is perfectly symmetrical for a balanced ride that’s equally versatile when ridden regular or switch. Jib, spin, stomp, and butter with a greater balance of freestyle mobility and cat-like stability no matter which way you point it.

Rocker - Camber

  • Purepop Camber  :

An evolution of a traditional camber shape, our NEW Purepop Camber profile features subtle flat zones just outside your feet to amplify pop and add playfulness to the snap and response of camber. Early rise and tail sections spin and float with a catch-free feel.

Other

  • Flex Twin  :

Symmetrical flex, from nose to tail, for a perfect balance when riding switch or regular.

  • Infinite Ride™  :

This Burton-exclusive technology allows us to maximize pop and strength by overbuilding the board, then putting it in a machine that breaks in the board for you. Whether you choose to ride Springloaded, Rocker, or Camber, rest assured that with Infinite Ride™ your board will maintain its flex, pop, and feel from the first day forward, season after season.

  • Off-Axis Frostbite  :

Edges slightly sharper under the feet for optimal edge hold in any conditions. Works with Off-Axis technology.

  • Pro-Tip™  :

A tapered Tip and Tail thickness reduces swing weight for easier mobility.

  • Scoop  :

This scoop shape makes the board a lot more forgiving by raising the edges at the nose and tail.

  • Sintered base  :

Very good wax absorbtion. Resists against friction. High longevity.

  • The Channel  :

Now on more boards and evolved for greater performance, The ChannelM6 has staked its claim as snowboarding’s most direct connection. Focusing power through a central connection that acts as a backbone for the board’s internal tech, it also lets you easily micro-adjust your stance width and angles with all binding formats including EST™, Re:Flex™, and Disc. The upgrade to M6 means Burton is now using a standardized hardware size that improves upon performance and ease-of-use, and allows for compatibility with select competitor bindings, making it a choice for any rider.

Baseplate - Chassis

  • Bomb-Proof Polycarbonate Re:Flex  :

Buttery and playful for laid-back, relaxed cruising.

  • Single-Component Baseplate  :

One material throughout creates consistent response and feel for all-terrain domination.

  • Re:Flex FullBED Cushioning System  :

FullBEd cushioning offers a full coverage, cushioned platform that maximizes comfort while minimizing fatigue. Anchored to the baseplate, its stealth trap door design lifts at the heel on disc bindings and the toe on Re:FlexTM bindings, making it easy to access the mounting hardware.

Highback

  • Canted Living Hinge™  :

This exclusive technology eliminates hardware and weight, and allows you to adjust your Forward Lean and hi-back rotation independently.

  • DialFLAD™  :

The higher the Forward Lean angle on your hi-backs, the quicker your heel-edge turns. Crank ’em forward for icy hits in the pipe like Danny does, or back ’em off for jibbing like Keegan. For mind-blowing micro-adjustability, check out the tool-free DialFLAD™ and MicroFLAD™ systems that give you twice the options of our traditional FLAD.

  • Single-Component Hi-Back  :

The simplicity of a one-piece hi-back means immediate response. Through material blends we then manipulate the overall flex profile—from buttery to responsive.

  • Spoiler Zero Forward Lean  :

Riders who prefer a more playful and relaxed feel will dig the NEW Zero Forward Lean design on select hi-backs. As always, you can still choose to crank ‘em forward for quicker control when carving or climbing icy pipe walls.

Straps - Buckles

  • Smooth Glide™ Buckles  :

Polished, chrome-plated aluminum and lightweight polycarbonate levers give you season after season of buttery smooth and reliable ratcheting power. Designed and built by us, not some shady supplier.

Our Flex Slider makes strapping in a breeze with a strategically stretched hinging zone that allows the heel strap to flex and fall fully open. Thanks to science of forced molecular alignment, the Flex Slider is also stronger, making it worthy of the lifetime warranty.

  • Gettagrip Capstrap™  :

    Triple Axis Spine

Ultra minimized Capstrap construction with TrueWrap toe window.

As Comfortable in Cap Strap as in Toe Strap

  • Lushstrap™  :
