Snowboard Capita Warpspeed

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Capita Warspeed is a board that likes to ride hard and fast. Built on a stiff structure, the board is a mountain plower that knows no border. Its ultra light woodcore is powered by bamboo reinforcements to keep the board as lively as possible. This new version also comes with carbon reinforcements in the tips and a new high-performance base Omega Mark II. Profile-wise, the Warspeed features a huge rocker for added powder floatiness and long traditional camber for hardcore edge grip on the hardpack.

What can the Capita Warspeed snowboard do?

It’s not a board made for goofing around, the Warspeed is a hard charging rocket suited for riding at warp speed. It’s a board that feels comfortable only when it rides on black runs or on steep freeride lines. The board delivers the ultimate edge control allowing carvers to link their arcs with a scientific precision even if they’re riding on ice. The board’s stability is rock solid and it blasts through any terrain incredibly well. It is also a fantastic pow board where its rockered nose carries you above surface with a natural ease. Powerful, floaty and fluid, the Warspeed is a mountain ripper that likes tearing stuff apart.

Who is the Capita Warspeed snowboard designed for?

Loaded with power, the board aims for advanced and expert riders or freeriders who want an all-terrain beast on their feet. The Capita Warspeed can hit powder or groomers regardless of the conditions and will definitely satisfy speed-driven riders.

Structure - Construction

  • Dynaweave Fiberglass  :

The Dynaweave configuration features a resin/glass application borrowed from the marine industry, which yields much stronger and more rigid qualities allowing us to decrease the wood core thickness? The main focus is to save wood core weight by increasing resin performance. This means you get a lighter board while achieving higher Triax glass on the top of the core and biax beneath, creating more response while increasing strength and durability. Combine this layup with one of the many additives we have availableand you get a high performing board tailored to meet your style of riding.

  •  :

Our friends at Union Binding Company have worked with us to integrate their industry first Forged Carbon technology into multiple models. Lighter and stronger than titanium, Forged Carbon is the future of high-end, performance based products.

  • Full ABS Sidewalls with Silkcreened Graphics  :

    ABS Sidewalls

  • Panda Core™ with Bamboo Power Rods  :

The Panda Core™ was built for a high performance return of energy in a lightweight and versatile core. From razor sharps turns on demand, to huge ollies, this core was engineered with all-terrain technical freestyle riding in mind. Comprised of the P2 Superlight Core and enhanced with inlaid Bamboo Power Rods, this core is strong enough to meet of the TFA customer while saving considerable weight

Rocker - Camber

  •  :

The Mountain V2 Profile features mid-body camber with a flat tail and a reverse cambered nose. This allows for tons of pop and stability on hard pack while increasing float and landing power, improving the rider's performance in deep snow.

  • 360 Degree Steel Edges
  • Multitech Level 5 DeepSpacecSilkscreen + DDT Topsheet
  •  :

The Omega Speed Base is made with a new blend ofcompressed ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene. The new upgrade include improved transparency and increased density. Sintered for speed, this base is porous, absorbing more wax to wick longer and ride faster. And by fast, we mean FAAAAST.

Snow Binding Burton Mission Black

The Mission is one of the many bindings that helped Burton build up their notoriety. Located upper than the Custom in the range, the Mission delivers added performance and comfort to snowboarders. Stronglight and reliable, it guarantees endless fun on the slopes.

Baseplate - Chassis

  • 30% Short-Glass/Nylon  :

Slightly more responsive yet still plenty playful.

  • Construction Embase Re:flex™  :

Three years in development, Re: Flex™ increases board flex and feel by a whopping 71 % for more natural taste and texture than that of traditional disc bindings.

  • Re:Flex FullBED Cushioning System  :

FullBEd cushioning offers a full coverage, cushioned platform that maximizes comfort while minimizing fatigue. Anchored to the baseplate, its stealth trap door design lifts at the heel on disc bindings and the toe on Re:FlexTM bindings, making it easy to access the mounting hardware.

  • Under-Baseplate EVA Dampening  :

Eats up vibrations and impacts so your body doesn’t have to.

Highback

  • Canted Living Hinge™  :

This exclusive technology eliminates hardware and weight, and allows you to adjust your Forward Lean and hi-back rotation independently.

  • DialFLAD™  :

The higher the Forward Lean angle on your hi-backs, the quicker your heel-edge turns. Crank ’em forward for icy hits in the pipe like Danny does, or back ’em off for jibbing like Keegan. For mind-blowing micro-adjustability, check out the tool-free DialFLAD™ and MicroFLAD™ systems that give you twice the options of our traditional FLAD.

  • Single-Component Hi-Back  :

The simplicity of a one-piece hi-back means immediate response. Through material blends we then manipulate the overall flex profile—from buttery to responsive.

  • Spoiler Zero Forward Lean  :

Riders who prefer a more playful and relaxed feel will dig the NEW Zero Forward Lean design on select hi-backs. As always, you can still choose to crank ‘em forward for quicker control when carving or climbing icy pipe walls.

Straps - Buckles

  • Smooth Glide™ Buckles  :

Polished, chrome-plated aluminum and lightweight polycarbonate levers give you season after season of buttery smooth and reliable ratcheting power. Designed and built by us, not some shady supplier.

  • Flex Slider  :

Our Flex Slider makes strapping in a breeze with a strategically stretched hinging zone that allows the heel strap to flex and fall fully open. Thanks to science of forced molecular alignment, the Flex Slider is also stronger, making it worthy of the lifetime warranty.

  • Gettagrip Capstrap™  :

    Triple Axis Spine

Ultra minimized Capstrap construction with TrueWrap toe window.

As Comfortable in Cap Strap as in Toe Strap

  • React Strap™  :

    Minimized Superstrap™ Construction.
