Snowboard DC Ply

Note: The actual colour of the board's base may be different than the one shown on the picture. Brands make them randomly.

If you were adding wheels under the Ply you'd find yourself on a skateboard. That's the best way we found to describe the Ply. Designed for delivering the same poppy and agile feel as a skate does, the board comes with a Stratus poplar core and a Lock and Load camber. This specific camber provides the carving performance of a traditional camber and combines it with the playfulness and stability of flat sections through the tips. Result: your ollies jump higher and your presses got more style.

What our testers say : The Ply is the ultimate freestyle gun for all advanced riders out there. If you look for something that's easy to move around, something responsive and poppy, or something you can thrash park rails or kickers with, the Ply is a safe bet. It's also a good choice for intermediate riders looking for a forgiving all-mountain board that handles any terrain with ease.

Manufacturer info :

Structure - Construction

  • Biaxial Fiberglass  :

Weaved biaxial fiberglass are positioned at 0°/90° for more torsional flex. Great performance at carving or park.

  • Stratus Core  :

DC's vertically laminated 100% poplar wood core is powerful, lightweight, and maintains good pop, whether in the steeps, park, or the streets.

Shape - Sidecuts

  • Radius 2Flat  :

The flat surfaces at the tip and tail of the board provide lift in powder to keep you floating in the deepest snow, while the radius blends in perfectly with the sidecut to create effortless transitions from edge to edge.

Rocker - Camber

  • Lock & Load Camber  :

Lock and Load Camber is a new approach to "traditional" camber. DC started out with a traditional camber throughout the midsection of the board, and then they lengthened the traditional contact points of the board to create a flat, stable platform for locking on. and loading up the tail. This is the next evlolution of camber. DC has 2 distinct areas that both Lock and Load the board like a true skateboard. The camber area extends the length of the inserts and gives you a midsection that will lock on boardslide, and load up for ollies. The contact points have been changed to a 20cm platform that locks into nose/tall presses, and loads up for huge ollies.

  • 3 Degree Bevel  :

By taking 3° off the traditional 90° edge, advantage is gained for both beginners, who get a forgiving, catch-free ride, as well as expert riders looking for a board that's jib-ready out of the wrapper.

  • True Base  :

    Fast base, easy to maintain.
