Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

Fully redesigned last year, the DF2 returns for 2016 with less changes. It comes with new graphics which every geek will appreciate, a fight between Balrog and Blanka, 2 notorious fighters of a game of legend, Street Fighter II. Technically speaking, the board comes with every feature that made it a good board, including Premium Core, Biax fibreglass and carbon reinforcements. The result is a playful and poppy deck perfectly suited for an all-terrain shredding. Add to it the Microcamber profile offering consistent performance everywhere and the DF2 is all set for knocking the mountain out!

Structure - Construction

  • Carbon Rods  :

A carbon rod running in the middle of the board from nose to tail offers better energy transfers and an incredible pop without compromising the torsional stiffness of the board. In a few words, it means more pop, more flex and more reactivity.

  • Biax fiberglass  :

Glass fibers are positioned at 90° off-axis to transmit soft torsion stiffness for an easy carving-ride.

  • PREMIUM POP CORE  :

Core made from the finest quality poplar wood. Its most important feature is its low density homogeneous throughout the entire board. This is created by narrow veining that gives the board a unique feel. The core transmits energy throughout tip and tail, and gives the rider a feeling of being fused to the board. Designed for all-terrain boards with freestyle aspects.

Shape - Sidecuts

  • Shape Twin Tip  :

Length and width of the nose and tail are the same. Inserts are centered.

Rocker - Camber

  • Micro Camber

Other

  • Detuned Edges  :

All of Drakes freestyle-jibbing boards come out the factory with detuned edges on the tip and tail. That avoids edge catch on turns and spins, and delivers a mellow ride. Ideal for riding boxes, rails or trees !

  • Ext Base 4000  :

Made of high quality P-Tex. This high-density base is fast and strong.

Snow Binding Drake Force Black

The Force will be with you whether you're a jedi or not. Suited for a wide range of riders, the binding was made light and forgiving with tons of reactivity. The heelcup was redesigned to provide added durability and the highback was padded to offer more comfort and dampening. The new straps keep the boot firmly held without creating any pressure point making the ride painful. In the end, the Force is a great binding that comes at a very attractive price.

What our testers say : This is Drake's entry level binding. Reinforced heelcup, flexible highback, convertible toe strap...and a small price! Perfect for aspiring riders who'd like to step up their game without shredding their bank account.
