Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

This is the Flagship, or the snowboard that symbolises Jones spirit. Jeremy Jones himself has worked on and fine tuned this board for 20 years to reach this unmatched level of performance. This new 2017 version is even more into nature as it features an eco-friendly flax fibre topsheet.

What can the Jones Flagship snowboard do?

The Flaship is an iconic freeride board in Jones’ catalogue and it’s the weapon of choice of the pro rider Jeremy Jones. Designed for laying tracks on the steepest untouched slopes of the mountain and for ripping the narrowest couloirs, the Flagship is a mindblowing off-piste performer. Jump of cliffs and cornices, go wander in the woods, surf on waist-deep powder and manoeuver as if it was easy, ride on crud and difficult snow and enjoy the superior stability of the board or even carve long arcs on groomers with the Flagship. It’s a board of character with enough camber and enough rocker to blast through all terrains. The basalt fibre incorporated in the construction make the board more powerful with a better dampening while the Magne Traction technology provides unparalleled edge grip on the hardpack. The Flagship is bringing a new definition to freeride, make sure you’re ready for it.

Who is the Jones Flagship snowboard designed for?

Powerful board, fast and responsive, best suited for advanced and expert freeriders looking for the ultimate pow board. Stable, lively and precise, the Flagship and its stiff construction plows through the mountain with a ridiculous ease. The only thing it will ask in return is a pair of strong legs!

Structure - Construction

  • Triax fiberglass  :

Versatile flex and response for everything from mini to mega shred.

  • Flax  :

A durable, sustainable and high performance dampening fiber

  • Mellow Magne-Traction  :

Like a serrated knife slicing into the snow, Magne-Traction improves your edge grip by adding multiple contact points along the running length of your board. The Flagship, Mountain Twin, and the Solution all feature a refined Magne-Traction design where the bumps are biggest between your bindings for maximum edge control and smaller outside your feet allowing you to feather your turns without catching an edge. Jeremy's Words: Why trust your life to an edge with only two contact points when Magne-Traction gives you the grip of seven points of contact! I have gotten to the bottom of countless steep, icy faces and thanked my Magne-Traction for giving me the edge control to hold on. Magne-Traction is also a key ingredient for rockered board designs. Adding rocker to your board makes it glide more smoothly, but it makes it harder to really lock into your turns and hold a solid edge. Though Magne-Traction on full-camber boards tends to feel too locked in, once I started testing different rocker designs it was clear that Magne-Traction was crucial to offset the drift typical of rocker flex patterns.

  • Power Wood Core  :

This core combines different densities of ash wood for more strength and reactivity. The board's also snappier under your feet.

  • Power V Basalt Stringers  :

Natural Pre-Cured basalt stringers transfer power from under your feet to the tips of the board to help eliminate nose and tail chatter

  • Recycled Rubber  :

Rubber edge dampening material is made with 100% recycled material.

Shape - Sidecuts

  • Directional shape  :

Classic shape for a versatile use. The nose is slightly longer than the tail.

  • Progressive Sidecut  :

At the far ends of the side cut, the radius is incrementally increased as the edge reaches the contact point. Gradually decreassing the side cut radius towards the contact point delivers smoother turn initiation and exit as the edge tracks in and out of the snow with a less abrupt transition.

  • Spoon 3.0  :

Freeride focused 3D-base contours featuring an even balance of 7mm of spoon bevel in the nose and 7mm of spoon bevel in the tail. Spoon bevel starts at the rocker point.

Rocker - Camber

  • Directional Rocker  :

A hybrid rocker/camber flex pattern defined by more tip rocker than tail rocker and slight camber between the bindings. The rockered tip gives the nose added float and improves manoeuvrability while the camber underfoot gives you added edge hold and response. A slightly rockered tail maintains the power and stablity of a traditional board, but helps keep the tail catch-free initiating turns and landing switch.

Other

  • Blunt Nose  :

"How a board glides in powder, crust, corn or any snow condition more than an inch deep is dictated by its front contact point and just past it. Next time you are in soft snow watch how much snow comes over the corner of the nose near the contact point. The billowing snow means you are plowing through it which is obviously slowing you down. By adding a blunt nose you get the float benefits of a much longer board tip without the added length or swing weight. " - Jeremy Jones.

  • Factory Tuned  :

All Jones Snowboards are factory de-tuned at the tip and tail plus waxed with OneBallJay Bio wax so you can go right from the shop to the mountain.

  • Fusion Tech  :

Jones exclusive production process allows traditional topsheet layer to be replaced with ultra durable epoxy layer saving weight and material

  • Oversized Recycled Edges
  • Recycled ABS  :

ABS plastic is one of the necessary evils of snowboard production. Jones improve the sustainability of our snowboards by using only recycled plastic.

  • Sintered 9900 Base  :

The fastest, most durable and wax absorbent natural base material available.

  • Wend Natural Wax  :

Jones boards are ready to shred straight out of the shop and are factory waxed with Wend natural wax

Snow Binding Flow Fuse-GT Fusion Black Red

The Fuse-GT Fusion Black Red is slightly softer and therefore easier to manage than the NX2 in Flow’s line of bindings. Just on the edge between comfort and performance and still ranking in the top-shelf category, the nylon and fibreglass chassis and the aluminium highback offer a responsive feel with a playful flexibility. The cushioning system OC-Kush enhances the comfort feel and makes the ride smoother. Like every Flow binding, this one features the Nasty rear-entry system allowing faster and easier entries just by lowering the highback to let the boot in.

What can the Flow Fuse-GT Fusion Black Red snowboard binding do?

This all-mountain binding is really versatile and ensures the ultimate fun on the slopes. It delivers a precise and responsive feel on steep groomers if you like carving, and it provides a solid support on deep powder. More flexible than the NX2, it’s also a good option for freestylers who want a powerful and tweakable ride on their feet. The Fuse-GT Fusion Black Red has no favourite terrain really, from peak to park, through pow, crud or hardpack, the binding performs very well and most importantly, it keeps your feet happy. If you are an all-terrain shredder, this is what you need.

Who is the Flow Fuse-GT Fusion Black Red snowboard binding designed for?

We recommend this binding to advanced riders who want to be able to charge or cruise equally well. The binding offers great comfort, a snug hold and excellent performance.

Baseplate - Chassis

  • 2,5° BankBeds  :

    Improves comfort and energy transfer

  • Baseplate Glass-Filled Nylon Rockered  :

Engineered to transmit energy directly to the board without loss of efficiency. The minimized contact area with the board channels your power where it needs to go while the rocker corners of the baseplate allow any type of board to maintain optimal flex. Featured on all Flow bindings

  • OC-Kush baseplate  :

OC-Kush Baseplate with cushioning inserts at the heel and toes to eliminate chatter and dampen landings.

Highback

  • Aluminium Alloy ModBack  :

The modular hibacks separate the lower and the upper zones for targeted strength, support, and flex where you need it. The Alu ModBacks offer more stiffness and response, while the GF-Nylon ModBacks offer a lively and fun feel. On the NX2, Fuse, and ISIS series, the lower zone also automatically triggers N.A.S.T.Y.

  • Apex 7

Straps - Buckles

  • A-Fusion Powerstrap  :

Giving you more feel and optimal performance, the unique Flow PowerStraps cover a larger area of the foot especially your critical mid-foot zone. PowerStraps don’t need to be cranked down which avoids cramping, fatigue and cold toes while transferring more power directly to your board edges. They also keep a stable position for true SpeedEntry convenience.

The FUSION PowerStrap is 3D-shaped, fuses the ankle & toe zones over the midfoot, and is padded for a super comfortable form-fit to your boot.

Featuring our new LSR-buckles, FUSION PowerStraps fuse the worlds of SpeedEntry and SideEntry so you can opt for either based on individual preference or the situation you are in.

Choose between either the Symmetrical I-FUSION for great all around support and freestyle feel or the Asymmetrical

A-FUSION for extra lateral support and responsiveness, the FUSION PowerStraps deliver the very best in comfort

    and performance.

  • LSR - Locking Strap Ratchets  :

These innovative Locking Slap Ratchet (LSR) buckles give you the option to easily get in and out bindings any which way you like. Whether SpeedEntry or DualEntry, they lock down to secure your preferred footstrap tightness.

  • N.A.S.T.Y  :

    New Active Strap Technology

SpeedEntry has never been more convenient without sacrificing the superior performance, comfort and power transmission that Flow bindings are famous for. With the revolutionary New Active Strap Technology, the strap automatically lifts up when you open the reclining hiback and actively tightens again when you close the hiback. N.A.S.T.Y. reduces friction and creates more room so that getting in and out of your bindings is faster and easier than ever.
