Snowboard Lib Tech Utility Knife

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

If Lib Tech’s boards are knowned by most riders and have been shredding the slopes for years, from the Skate Banana to the T.Rice, the brand has a new release this year called the Utility Knife. This new board belongs to the freestyle lineup of the manufacturer.

What can the Lib Tech Utility Knife snowboard do?

Featuring a C3 profile, the Utility Knife is an aggressive board with camber underfoot making it more responsive but keeping a playful touch thanks to the reverse camber between the bindings. We have a genuine freestyle gun here, jib, rails and boxes have no secrets. The board feels like a skateboard, super nimble, it pops hard and does what you ask when you ask. It excels at killing rails but it also performs on kickers. Spins are smooth and intuitive, there’s no swing weight and landings are even smoother. From stylish slow-mo-like backside 180s to technical 900 tail grab, your bag of tricks has no bottom. And beyond the fact this board is the ideal park gun, it’s also a decent all-rounder that can play on most terrains. The construction ensures optimal support at high speed or on difficult snow and lets you shred the entire mountain with peace of mind.

Who is the Lib Tech Utility Knife snowboard designed for?

Freestylers, advanced or experts, the Utility Knife is going to be your new best friend. Great jib board, it was designed for breaking and ripping rails and boxes all day long. It’s also a good board for kickers. Actually, it covers any aspect of freestyle. The board is powerful and responsive, nimble and ideally suited for aggressive riders seeking stability on all terrains and ready to sacrifice a bit of forgiveness.

Snow Binding Nitro Zero Shaka

Already in Nitro’s catalogue last year, the Zero binding comes back almost untouched. Its lightened base plate and its aluminium buckles allow to save some weight and make it nimbler while the Air Dampening cushioning system brings a pleasant comfort. It is endowed with an asymmetrical highback with a medium flex that provide a good support without being too demanding. On the cushioning side, we also appreciate the soft straps that hold the boot in place.

What can the Nitro Zero Shaka binding do?

How about sensations close to skateboarding? This snowboard binding is designed to provide the same feeling. The Zero Shaka offers a maximum freedom of movement and a great feeling of the board associated to an accurate support. Nitro engineers developed here a multipurpose freestyle binding to do laps non-stop on the slopes and in the snowpark. Don’t hesitate to send massive tricks and spins, the Zero Shaka absorbs the shocks and will survive any landing.

Who is the Nitro Zero Shaka binding designed for?

The medium flex brings a hint of forgiveness that most riders seek. The Zero Shaka is reserved to intermediate and confirmed snowboarders looking for a comfortable and accurate binding to play everywhere on the mountain and especially in the park.
