Snowboard Nitro Good Times

Note: The actual colour of the board's base may be different than the one shown on the picture. Brands make them randomly.

The Good Times is new to Nitro’s lineup. Based on the Swindle and jointly redesigned with best park and street riders of the team to improve the freestyle performance without compromising its snappy character, the Good Times is an awesome shred stick.

What can the Nitro Good Times do?

Get ready for a blast. The Good Times is a heck of a board that’s going to be adored by all park rats out there. Nitro made it more forgiving and press-friendly so that you could pull a switch 3 nose grind with more style and less fear. To do so, they used a FlatOut Rocker (flat midsection, rockered tips) for improved agility and playfulness, and they combined it with a Whiplash Core profile. The core is thinner between the inserts and thicker towards the ends. This maximises your ollie power while delivering consistent flex performance. Riding it is loving it, the name of the board makes total sense from the first run on. The beech-reinforced poplar Powercore II delivers stability and response on the hardpack with tons of support on chopped up snow.
On powder, the flat and rockered camber works pretty well and the board floats naturally without being too demanding. So, if you want to ride everywhere in the mountain but spending most of your time honing your freestyle skills, the Good Times is a very good pick.

Who is the Nitro Good Times designed for?

Cette board à dominante freestyle va être prisée par les riders de niveau intermédiaire à confirmé qui cherchent une planche assez souple et très joueuse pour passer partout ou presque. Freestyle-oriented riders with an intermediate or advanced level will love the board. It is flexible and playful and it delivers an enjoyable versatility. Great choice for improving your skills.

Snow Binding Burton Freestyle Black

It feels like this Freestyle binding has been around forever! Indeed, when you look at the previous collections, you realize it has been 20 years since its first release! 20 years that Burton upgrades its entry-level binding to make it a best seller. The Freestyle features a sturdy construction, very light as well, to ensure the best riding. The quality of the materials used improves every year and the Freestyle benefits from upgrades (like the straps) that used to be featured on high end models. This is Burton's way to deliver quality gear to riders on a budget, and it's a way we like!

What can the Burton Freestyle Black do?

The Burton Freestyle is a do-it-all binding. If its name suggests the Freestyle has the park for home, it can very well perform on any terrain. It's not the stiffest nor the most responsive binding ever, which is why it excels in the park, but it'll teach you how to carve on groomers or how to float pow with a soft and forgiving feel.

Who is the Burton Freestyle Black designed for?

The soft flex makes the Freestyle forgiving and easy. It makes you feel comfortable straight away regardless of the conditions. We recommend it to riders who want progression at good value!

Baseplate - Chassis

  • Bomb-Proof Polycarbonate Re:Flex  :

Buttery and playful for laid-back, relaxed cruising.

  • Single-Component Baseplate  :

One material throughout creates consistent response and feel for all-terrain domination.

  • Re:Flex FullBED Cushioning System  :

FullBEd cushioning offers a full coverage, cushioned platform that maximizes comfort while minimizing fatigue. Anchored to the baseplate, its stealth trap door design lifts at the heel on disc bindings and the toe on Re:FlexTM bindings, making it easy to access the mounting hardware.

  • Minimized construction  :

By getting rid of any unecessary material, Burton manages to lighten the highback without compromising its strength, its response and its comfort.

  • Single-Component Hi-Back  :

The simplicity of a one-piece hi-back means immediate response. Through material blends we then manipulate the overall flex profile—from buttery to responsive.

  • MicroFLAD™  :

The higher the Forward Lean angle on your hi-backs, the quicker your heel-edge turns. Crank ’em forward for icy hits in the pipe like Danny does, or back ’em off for jibbing like Keegan. For mind-blowing micro-adjustability, check out the tool-free DialFLAD™ and MicroFLAD™ systems that give you twice the options of our traditional FLAD.

  • Spoiler Zero Forward Lean  :

Riders who prefer a more playful and relaxed feel will dig the NEW Zero Forward Lean design on select hi-backs. As always, you can still choose to crank ‘em forward for quicker control when carving or climbing icy pipe walls.

Straps - Buckles

  • Adaptastrap  :

As comfortable in Capstrap as in Toestrap.

  • Smooth Glide™ Buckles  :

Polished, chrome-plated aluminum and lightweight polycarbonate levers give you season after season of buttery smooth and reliable ratcheting power. Designed and built by us, not some shady supplier.

  • Flex Slider  :

Our Flex Slider makes strapping in a breeze with a strategically stretched hinging zone that allows the heel strap to flex and fall fully open. Thanks to science of forced molecular alignment, the Flex Slider is also stronger, making it worthy of the lifetime warranty.

  • Lushstrap™  :

Lushstrap construction with tri-axis curved spine 3D®.

    EVA dampening.
