Snowboard Rossignol District

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The District looks a lot like the Circuit but with a more pronounced freestyle personality. It has the same mission though, to welcome newcomers in the world of snowboarding and help them become real riders. You’ll see, in a few years, you’ll remember the District as one of the best boards you ever had.

What can the Rossignol District  snowboard do?

We can’t really say the board is specific to a style or a terrain. The District was designed to bring versatility and easiness to entry-level riders who need a soft and forgiving ride on their feet. The board does have a slight preference for freestyle due to a twin shape offering more balance and higher park performance, but it remains super adaptable and can ride on all types of snow. Piste, powder or chunky snow, it doesn’t matter. As long as you’re having fun riding, the board is happy.

Who is the Rossignol District snowboard designed for?

Rossignol’s engineers designed this board with beginners in mind but they wanted it to be progressive enough to allow intermediate riders to have fun with it as well. That’s why the board received a mellow flex, it enhances agility and forgiveness and makes it easier to control on the slopes as well as on park features. It’s a great pick if you want to progress fast and crank up your style!

Structure - Construction

  • Wood core 5620  :

A single type of wood that’s vertically laminated to give you durability and comfort without breaking the bank.

Shape - Sidecuts

  • Twin Freestyle Flex  :

Symmetrical flex. Stiffer under the feet for more pop and added balance. Softer waist for more agility and control.

  • Radcut  : TURN TECHNOLOGY: A traditional sidecut between the inserts fuses with multiple reverse sidecuts toward the tip and tail, providing real time sidecut adjustment to the ride, ie. longer when faster, shorter when slower, and delivering the perfect cut at all times. RadCut is off ered in multiple versions, each tailored for individual riding styles. More aggressive sidecut blends deliver quicker, livelier turns while smoother sidecuts offer a more fluid, relaxed ride.
