Snowboard Slash Happy Place

Note: The actual colour of the board's base may be different than the one shown on the picture. Brands make them randomly.

The Happy Place is a board that belongs to Slash lineup since the beginning. It is one of their most (if not The most) playful board available and was clearly designed to stick a smile on your face and make you happy. The fresh and colorful graphics of the board are a good clue about its personality. The Happy Place features a wood based construction offering pop and liveliness to riders who like airing in the park. Moreover, the board comes with one of the most user-friendly profile available on the market, the Camrock, synonym of agility and fun.

What can the Slash Happy Place do?

If snowboarding is a matter of fun and you're a happy rider more than a performance-driven one, then the Happy Place is a safe bet. Its twin shape and Camrock profile bring versatility at its best. The camber underfoot provides response and stability while the rockered tips make the board floaty and playful in case you like hopping on and off the piste ride on pow and lap the park all in the same day. The board pivots effortlessly and feels really light and nimble, a bit like on a skateboard. The board really works like a toy, it's flexy and fun to move around. It will turn any slope that looks boring into a new playground full of natural features.

Who is the Slash Happy Place designed for?

This is a board for intermediate riders looking for a freestyle-oriented board that remains playful and progressive on all terrains. It's also an excellent match for advanced riders looking for an easy and confidence-inspiring park board.

Structure - Construction

  • Biaxial Fiberglass  :

Weaved biaxial fiberglass are positioned at 0°/90° for more torsional flex. Great performance at carving or park.

  • Pop Core  :

Core designed for freestyle use. Made of poplar wood, with a higher density in the tips in order to give the board more reactivity.

  • Sweet Spot  :

2 cross-shaped carbon fibers placed from the contact point of the nose and tail to the middle of the inserts. This configuration increases POP and strength, bringing more play into your riding.

Shape - Sidecuts

  • Progressive Sidecut  :

The discussion of sidecut is simple, it makes the board turn. Now a step ahead we bring you progressive sidecut which is really benefital with hybrid cambers as the contact points of the board become more relevant for smooth turns.

  • Shape Twin  :

Shape perfectly symetric for keeping balance no matter switch or regular. Shape for freestyle : Jib and spins, butters and landings easier.

Rocker - Camber

  • CamRock  :

The CamRock will give you everything you need for your backcountry line. There is more rocker in the nose to add float and improved maneuverability, matched with a smaller amount of camber under foot to keep your snowboard responsive. A small amount of rocker in the tail will give you stability and maneuverability.

  • Belt Finish  :

Belt Finish gets your base optimized before we fully wax the board.

  • Factory Wax  :

Every snowboard is waxed with our high grade Italian made wax to ensure you’ll be the fastest one down the hill.

  • Sintered base  :

Very good wax absorbtion. Resists against friction. High longevity.

  • Slick Tip Profile  :

By reducing the wood thickness and removing the usual ABS parts at nose and/or tail. Slick Tip Technology allows us to lighten up the board significantly but it also dampens vibrations and provides a unique light feel in turn transitions.

  • Ultimate Traction  :

By strategically positioning five bumps along the board’s effective edges instead of using a more conventional serration, the reactivity is enhanced in all conditions. As a result, you will have more control of your board and way more fun!

The King is Drake's entry-level offering and it is on this type of bindings that you can see most the evolutions from a year to another. On the King for instance, if you take a close look you will notice that it features technologies used on higher-priced bindings last year.
