Flow Juno 2017

Snowboard Yes Hel

Note: The actual colour of the board's base may be different than the one shown on the picture. Brands make them randomly.

To the ladies who have no fear, to the women who charge harder than their men, to all those looking for style and performance blended in a great board, this is the Hel Yes. It is also the weapon of choice of the pro rider Helen Schettini by the way.

What can the Yes Hel snowboard do?

Watch your eyes and watch your legs, this is the Hel, a pro model that’s not designed for goofing around. It’s a high performance women-specific snowboard suited for riding hard and fast on the entire mountain. It comes with a pretty firm flex (⅘ on Yes scale) and with a bamboo/poplar core which means the board is responsive, grippy and super lively. Riders who like to carve long arcs will find in the Hel one of the best edge control ever and powerful energy returns. It’s also and mainly a powder board and the deeper, the better. The board floats like a dream and sneaks through obstacles with ease. It delivers support for slashing powdery ridges or for landing big jumps on a stable platform. In other words, the Hel is a high-end freeride all-mountain board that rips. That’s about it.

Who is the Yes Hel snowboard designed for?

The board is for advanced or expert women riders looking for a performance-driven snowboard. From carving groomers to surfing powder, the Hel delivers stability, support and personality. It is a demanding board though and requires technique to be managed, we remind you that it’s a pro model!

Structure - Construction

  • Biaxial Fiberglass  :

Weaved biaxial fiberglass are positioned at 0°/90° for more torsional flex. Great performance at carving or park.

  • Poplar + Bamboo core  :

Creating a lighter, more responsive core than the Full Poplar. The Poplar + Bamboo uses the same durable core, lightens it up by replacing 30% of the poplar with paulownia and the inserts two bamboo stringers down the full length for added pop and response.

Shape - Sidecuts

  • Directional shape  :

Classic shape for a versatile use. The nose is slightly longer than the tail.

  • Shape True Twin / Radial Outline with Underbite Edges  :

Withe success of last years Overbite Edges on the Hel we wanted to see what would happen when we take our own design theories and turn them inside out. The result was a small revolution in board shaping. By stepping in under the bindings it reduces (or disrupts) the surface area of the edge that has contact with snow (while the board is on edge) which in turn increases the edge pressure in the areas where you need it - from binding out, and through the center of the board where the carving arc is taking place.

The Hel is designed to be ridden more aggressively and benefits from the traction associated with bump-outs. The Basic and Emoticon benefit from more subtle re-distribution of your body weight onto areas that help you turn.

Rocker - Camber

  • CamRock  :

The CamRock will give you everything you need for your backcountry line. There is more rocker in the nose to add float and improved maneuverability, matched with a smaller amount of camber under foot to keep your snowboard responsive. A small amount of rocker in the tail will give you stability and maneuverability.

Other

  •  :

Just like it says. Pellets or course powder is pressed until it forms a solid. There are several suppliers for our entire industry and they each have differentcodes for them, depending on the colour and transparency. These codes can make it seem like you're getting many differents kinds and grades of sintered but they're all pretty much the same as far as you and I will ever tell. True Sintered is harder and more expensive than extruded and it can be faster for those that ride aggressively fast. But to do that, it needs to be waxed and prepared for local conditions.

Snow Binding Flow Juno Fusion Black

After a sensational start last season, here comes the women’s binding back again the Flow Juno Fusion Black, a low price and an ultra comfortable model with a great reactivity. Everything is made to provide comfort: a unique strap to wrap the foot to perfection and avoid unwanted pressure points, a baseplate to provide an efficient cushioning while the padded highback delivers a good backside holding.

What can the Flow Juno Fusion Black binding do?

Super versatile, this women’s snowboard binding is able to attack on any terrains and snow conditions. With the Juno Fusion Black , ladies will find all the needed support to carve on the slopes and attack the most technical terrains of the mountain. Flow engineers even endowed the Juno Fusion Black with a 2.5° canting to make the support more accurate and the fit more reactive. Then, your board will be at your beck and call to engage in freeride thoughtlessly and do few jumps on the way. This binding will provide you a stunning cushioning anyway.

Who is the Flow Juno Fusion Black binding designed for?

You discovered it last year, you will love it this year. Its construction and highback are quite stiff and are reserved to intermediate and confirmed riders with good technical skills looking for a versatile and comfortable binding to ride non stop all winter long.

Highback

  • Spoiler Uniback  :

Lightweight 1-piece hibacks that fully recline for easy Dual-Entry & Exit and the comfortable EVA pads reduce the pressure on your legs.

Straps - Buckles

  • A-Fusion Powerstrap  :

Giving you more feel and optimal performance, the unique Flow PowerStraps cover a larger area of the foot especially your critical mid-foot zone. They also keep a stable position for true SpeedEntry convenience.

The FUSION PowerStrap is 3D-shaped, fuses the ankle & toe zones over the midfoot, and is padded for a super comfortable form-fit to your boot.

Featuring our new LSR-buckles, FUSION PowerStraps fuse the worlds of SpeedEntry and SideEntry so you can opt for either based on individual preference or the situation you are in.

Choose between either the Symmetrical I-FUSION for great all around support and freestyle feel or the Asymmetrical

A-FUSION for extra lateral support and responsiveness, the FUSION PowerStraps deliver the very best in comfort

    and performance.

  • LSR - Locking Strap Ratchets  :

These innovative Locking Slap Ratchet (LSR) buckles give you the option to easily get in and out bindings any which way you like. Whether SpeedEntry or DualEntry, they lock down to secure your preferred footstrap tightness.
