|Size 156Wcm - Camber Rocker + Camber|
This one stands on the step above the Basic in Yes lineup. Basically, you take the Basic, upgrade its engine and you get the Typo. A board designed for cruising down the resort as well as annihilating the backcountry.
What can the Yes Typo snowboard do?
We could easily sing Daft Punk to describe the Typo. Harde, better, faster, stronger are the terms that define it best. The board is stiffer, faster, beefier and more powerful in general than the Basic, it delivers higher performance both on hard and soft snow. The board is stiff and responsive which enhances stability at high speed and eliminates chatter. It provides tons of support and allows riders to charge down the steepest slopes with confidence. The shape is slightly directional which adds manoeuverability to the ride and the firm flex keeps the board powerful with great accelerations out of turns. You get higher carving performance and a better feel on powder. A real all-terrain SUV vehicle.
Who is the Yes Typo snowboard designed for?
The Typo is targetting pretty much the same crowd as its little sister the Basic, intermediates and advanced riders. However, the board is a touch stiffer and strong riders or aggressive ones are more likely to get on with it. To make things simpler, if you’re looking for progression and speed, go for the Typo, if you’re up for some cruising, pick the Basic.

Weaved biaxial fiberglass are positioned at 0°/90° for more torsional flex. Great performance at carving or park.
Woodcores have always been used in the snowboard industry and are well known for their performances in terms of stability, rebounce, dampening and durability.
Symetric shape for freestyle, directional flex for smooth turns at full speed. Bindings are slightly setback.
Withe success of last years Overbite Edges on the Hel we wanted to see what would happen when we take our own design theories and turn them inside out. The result was a small revolution in board shaping. By stepping in under the bindings it reduces (or disrupts) the surface area of the edge that has contact with snow (while the board is on edge) which in turn increases the edge pressure in the areas where you need it - from binding out, and through the center of the board where the carving arc is taking place.
The Hel is designed to be ridden more aggressively and benefits from the traction associated with bump-outs. The Basic and Emoticon benefit from more subtle re-distribution of your body weight onto areas that help you turn.
The CamRock will give you everything you need for your backcountry line. There is more rocker in the nose to add float and improved maneuverability, matched with a smaller amount of camber under foot to keep your snowboard responsive. A small amount of rocker in the tail will give you stability and maneuverability.
This is the term we use and is the grey zone many companies play in. We call it Sintered spec. because it's hardness and chemical properties are very colse to true sintered and it's on-snow performance is also very close to true sintered - but it's formed using the extrusion process. How? - Well the raw material is actually pre-consumer recycled (meaning it never left the factory) sintered base material. So while the heatingand extrusion process has softened it slightly, it's still much harder than true extruded.
