Ski boot Rossignol Kiara Sensor 80 Snow White

Shoe Size information : We recommend to pick one size up from your normal shoe size.

With the Kiara Sensor, Rossignol is taking care of women's feet. The boot was designed to adapt to women's specific shapes and feature a low profile liner coupled with a shorter cuff and softer foams. They also come with new buckles that provide optimal hold and no pressure points on the calf or elsewhere. If it wasn't for the flex rate being a touch stiffer, making the boot a little more responsive, the Kiara Sensor 80 is the twin brother of the Kiara Sensor 70. It has the same polyolefin shell, a fleece-lined heatmoldable liner and a 104mm boot last.

What our testers say : The boot is super comfortable and ensures excellent hold and insulation. The flex at 80 is just what you need if you're intermediate and are looking at improving and making it to the next level. It gives you enough performance to do so and yet feels still soft and forgiving enough to enjoy skiing painlessly.

Liner

  • Thermo Fit Liner  :

Thermo fit liners are made out of thermoformable foam. Once heated up, the foam wraps around the foot and calf for a perfect fit. It can be redone several times.

  • Total Polar Fleece Liner  :

Fleece fur for a good thermal insulation

  • One Piece Toe Box  :

A toe box made of one piece to avoid pressure points when you put the boot on. The tongue is seamless on the fore area and the instep zone is padded, allowing to avoid pressure points on toes and instep.

Buckles

  • Diagonal buckles  :

The diagonal buckles orient the bails and catches in a diagonal direction, providing a better shell wrap and fit. The diagonal angle pulls the foot backwards into the heel pocket. They are also easier to align when entering and exiting the boot.

Various

  • Canting  :

To adjust the canting, make the cuff screw under the shell loose, bend your knees a few times making sure your soles are flat on the ground. While you're bent, ask someone to tight the screw again.
