Alpine Ski Black Crows Anima

The Anima returns with a sleeker and cleaner design making it a good looking / modern ski. It keeps the same geometric tips both featuring rockers for an optimal powder behaviour.

What can the 2018 Black Crows Anima ski do?

The new version of the Anima confirms the freestyle temper of the ski. Designed with deep powder in mind, the ski boasts a wide 115mm waist to deliver the best floatability ever. Featuring big rockers in the tips, the beast manoeuvers easily and feels actually playful. The ski pivots on a dime and screams for creativity. Give room to your imagination and use every natural feature you can to send a trick. Fallen trees, natural booters, cliff drops, anything will do. And the best thing is, there is a bit of camber to keep the ski grippy on hard snow meaning you can even use it on piste if you like!

Who is the 2018 Black Crows Anima ski designed for?

The Anima is a strong and powerful ski designed for advanced and expert skiers looking for a freestyle stick that lets them express their creativity in the backcountry.

Shape

  • Bidirectional (twin tip)  :

The ski shape allows to ski forward or backward.

Weight of the pair in grams

Structure - Construction

  • Semi Cap  :

Semi-capped sidewalls are a good way to unify the sides with the top of the ski and maintain the strength of vertical sidewalls.

    Facilitates rotation.

Camber type

  • Classic camber  :

When the ski sits flat on the ground, the tip and the tail are in contact with it while the midsection rises above. It is this section that maximises the energy transmission towards the edge, ideal for piste skiing. It also provides a rebound which enhances energy return and pop.

Rocker type

  • Tip and tail rocker  :

Full length rocker perfect for surfing powder. It floats easily and ensures smooth and effortless turns. Landings are easier too.

Ski Binding Atomic Warden MNC 13 C115 White Black Orange

The Warden 13 MNC binding combines the strength and precision you need on piste with the smooth progressive power transfer you need in deeper snow. MNC stands for Multi Norm Certified, which means it works with all types of soles – DIN, Touring and Walk To Ride (WTR) – and fits every normed boot in the market. So it’s ideal if you want one binding for your all-mountain and backcountry skiing. It has an Oversized Platform and U-Power Toe – a super-wide platform that provides maximum lateral power transmission plus precise steering, natural flex and strong dampening. It’s also 30% wider than comparable bindings so works well with progressive wider skis. Finally it has self-retracting Freeski Brakes that eliminate hang-ups on switch landings.
